[video - open to all - originating from Nexic Quadrant]
[It's Slipstream, Cybertronian Seeker with a light-teal and violet deco. Thruster repaired, she's hovering within the void of a crater. She attempts to sound pleasant, though whether she's successful is arguable.]
First off, any of you big bots or fellow refugees seen parts of this planet not littered with piles of scrap or marked with so many stellar craters. [Sarcasm: it is thick here.]
No offense to the big bot. The neighborhood looks to be undergoing some urban renewal, and offers all kinds of nostalgia for bots with experience in mining or demolitions. There's even attractions for the organics, like the ice hockey rinks. [Meaning the icy surfaces in the depths of the craters, images of which she's broadcasting.] And there's plenty of available residences in secure, well-shielded excavations.
And, second, since it's been established we weren't collected one from each universe, anyone noticed an exceptionally charming, handsome, egotistical, suck-up of a Seeker skulking around? If he's not in a pile of scrap waiting to be recycled, he's probably making a nuisance of himself!
You might say he looks something like me. [She gestures to those parts of her own body corresponding to her description.] Extra-broad shoulders. Strong- jaw. Amber canopy.
[Slipstream crosses her arms over her cockpit canopy. Lip components press together in something near a frown.]
It's not like I need to find him, or he's some great leader, or useful. But, I might not mind knowing if he's around.

[Elita's voice is seemingly disembodied, dryly amused as she lets the video record right from her visual feed, which happens to be at the Haven-end of the approach to Solus' temple. It's a large expanse of mostly flat ground, with large, craggy outcroppings thrusting up as if pushed from the inside... which they probably have been, due to the earthquakes in the area.
The temple on the other end looks rather stark, but surely it can't be all that bad, right? She then switches the feed back to th inbuilte computer/comm unit on her arm, so the view is of her upper body instead of what she's seeing.]
I think everything around looks different. Can't say I've seen the mech you're talking about, though.
[She shrugs as she starts to walk again, privately hoping that inside won't quite look like this... Though, she doubts it would, considering their "hosts" has to live here too.]
[Is that a Solian glyph? Slipstream's seen at least one of those.]
Guess all those sorta- vents make it a good place for forging. You met your host, yet?
Probably. Some of them seem more like natural features. Earthquakes, probably.
[She nods, paying more attention to where she's walking now rather than Slipstream... and no matter if she takes this over-ground path or the underground tunnels... this walking is going to get annoying fast.]
At the junk pile, yes.
[She still wasn't sure what to think, except for "impressive" and "left an impression".]
Cyberquakes, even. [It's a joke, not a good one, earthquakes with the small 'e' is probably most accurate.] Don't you drive? Hover? Something.
She seems generous, but I can't say she's the most friendly.
[She's not serious, but it's an amusing conversation, so why not? At the question, Elita frowns and then shakes her helm.] That's not what my altmode's for, no.
[Technically, there's no reason to be evasive about her altmode, but considering the situation, she's not sure how much she wants to give away... and to what seems like a Decepticon, she's rather sure.]
I found her pleasant enough; she had enough patience to answer any questions I had, anyway. Hit a bad spot, perhaps?
[She's not smirking, but her tone might lean towards more bite than just a friendly question; more teasing.]
You considered a closer temple, given you're walking?
It's not that I have anything against your host, there. Just...don't suggest her ability to create things relies on mere technology.
[Indeed. Rather interesting, too. Of course, they could just use "quakes" as well. Easy and short.]
... Not yet, at least. [The thought had, frankly, not occured to her, and her brief surprise might be testament to that.] If anything, I might have to consider changing altmode anyway. If there is anything suitable to change into.
[Which... might be an issue, here.]
That's what she does, then? And if they're agents of Primus and the first among us... or of the cybertronians here, it wouldn't surprise me if it wasn't more than just technology.
[She shrugs and had to veer around a larger outcropping than most; this one stretches above her, though maybe not at the size of the Firstforged.]
Sports car? If you'll continue with the unpaved routes, maybe a moon buggy landed in the scrap pile.
She can transform external material- [The Primus cult? Seriously?] -It's probably technology, just really advanced technology.
I'd need to find something--- [She can't help the grimace at the mention of the moon buggy. That might be useful, but she's fast, and being locked into something that isn't...] around here, and I'd need something to accomodate these.
[She gives a wave back towards her back-mounted panels, which, even if they stylistically remind of wings, aren't. Just part of her hull.]
Practical. [You'd need a lot less tools lying around that way... And yes, Slipstream, Primus cult. Want Elita to tell you about when all surviving Decepticons and Autobots fought Unicron and Primus made an appearance?]
And whatever it is, that's impressive.
They don't look like aircraft wings. But, maybe some other bot here has a hovercar alt-form of suitable mass. Or, rocket plane?
I can't argue it's useful. [Just the whole robot magic and gods thing; a debate is inevitable.] But, to know all about bots coming from different universes and then get offended when they have different ideas seems kinda illogical!
They aren't, no. They don't serve quite the same function as the wings of an actual airframe.
[Shrugging, Elita tapped her chin in thought briefly. The problem was still to find something (or someone, as Slipstream had pointed out) suitable.]
Good ideas. Might be necessary, even if I have the feeling we won't have nothing but time until they find a way for us to go home.
[She also liked travelling across bodies of liquid dense enough to carry her while in alt. It was a different sort of feeling to be travelling at speed through liquid than on the ground, even while hovering.]
Well, if all of it usually fits together, an exception might be more incredulous? [A shrug, since Elita has no idea about the lack of Primus in Slipstream's universe... though she would probably assume Primus'd had a hand in the Allspark's creation somehow.]
Still, it's not like a bot from the 'odd universe out' knows they are the exception! Their way is normal to them, right?
[She grimaces, back-mounted panels twitching. The thought it
terrifying, unpleasant.]Not really, no. So what's the exception?
[It feels... odd, to be having this sort of discussion with a Decepticon, but more because of things in general than the built-up rage and idstrust of having been in a war for millions of years, beacuse she hasn't.]
[Just small talk. It's not like they're discussing troop movements.]
Seems here, we're all an exception in some way. Who's winning the war, whether it's over, the condition of Cybertron, religious movements.
[Of course only small talk. Nothing else at all, so Elita's sharp little grin is just part of it.]
The details are important after all. It'd be interesting to learn what all the differences are, but that might get unwieldy, unless you had somewhere to store the information...
[She wasn't much of a "social patterns" type of femme, but it was still an interesting thought in general, all these possible differences and similarities.]
If we're really gonna be here a while, there's likely time enough for discussion. Though, designations would be useful. 'Universe Alpha' or that sort of thing.
[Shrugging, Elita knew that that would probably be interesting for any scientists; she, however, was merely noting the differences to be able to tell everybody apart.]
Universes where the Autobot leader is the Magnus and carries a hammer. Universes where they never heard of such a hammer.
... Magnus leading all the Autobots? That's... new. He commands the ship I'm with along with Grimlock in my reality.
[It's almost easy to phrase it like that, now. "My reality", as if it's such a simple thing, nothing special.]
