First off, any of you big bots or fellow refugees seen parts of this planet not littered with piles of scrap or marked with so many stellar craters. [Sarcasm: it is thick here.]

No offense to the big bot. The neighborhood looks to be undergoing some urban renewal, and offers all kinds of nostalgia for bots with experience in mining or demolitions. There's even attractions for the organics, like the ice hockey rinks. [Meaning the icy surfaces in the depths of the craters, images of which she's broadcasting.] And there's plenty of available residences in secure, well-shielded excavations.

And, second, since it's been established we weren't collected one from each universe, anyone noticed an exceptionally charming, handsome, egotistical, suck-up of a Seeker skulking around? If he's not in a pile of scrap waiting to be recycled, he's probably making a nuisance of himself!

You might say he looks something like me. [She gestures to those parts of her own body corresponding to her description.] Extra-broad shoulders. Strong- jaw. Amber canopy.

[Slipstream crosses her arms over her cockpit canopy. Lip components press together in something near a frown.]

It's not like I need to find him, or he's some great leader, or useful. But, I might not mind knowing if he's around.

Yeah, that does make sense. Wouldn't know much about that, I'm grounded, literally....

But, how does flying for you work? Do you manipulate the air to carry you? Do you glide? Do you work like airships?

Do they not have airplanes-? No matter. The basic principles of fluid dynamics allow for various forms of flight. You need enough thrust to counteract any drag; a form that reduces drag is useful there, as well as propulsion. And you need enough lift to counteract your weight. A kind of lift can come from use of gasses lighter than the ambient atmosphere, but planes use wings to split the air currents creating a pressure differential to give lift.

[Korra blinked. Wished Asami was here, she knew the girl would've been interested in such technical talk.]

Um, no, we don't have anything called airplanes in my world.

Thrust, huh--? Oh, like the stories of Princess Azula, she shot fire from her feet--I think that gave her enough thrust to get airborne.

Wings--sounds like a glider, but...different.

[Korra shook her head.]

[Pretty clear the explanation isn't getting through.] I suppose the explanation could be simplified, but if you understand about water, you should be able to get it, eventually. Maybe with pictures? Or, step-by-step?

Maybe it was an assumption, given you knew the ice was there. [But, clearly there are other ways to gather information, and Korra seems quick to do so. This is an admirable trait, and after a pause Slipstream gives a smile, then nods acknowledgement.] You can be reached at Megatronus's temple, then.

Let's say Megatron is the Amon Starscream tends to disagree with. Can't say if the big bot is anything like him.

You know what Blurr looks like? [She actually doesn't know him by name.] There's a few bots that seem familiar.

And, exploring's not a bad strategy. Though, some time here investigating the anomaly in the sky and what transwarp technology is available could also get us all closer to home.

[Then quickly, in afterthought:] Transwarp is science that allows people and objects to bridge great distances across space in a relatively short amount of time.

Huh. Wonder if Amon has his own Starscream....
