[Hello, everyone. Have a nervous looking redheaded human. Martha fiddles with the camera for a moment, looking between annoyed and concerned, so you get about fifteen seconds of her chest and worried frown. Sorry about that. Finally, satisfied, she turns to sit on the floor beside her bed; she fusses with her skirt for a moment, awkwardly trying to get her legs in order, before sitting pretty but obviously stiff. The bed is too high for her to scale at the moment.]

[Martha tries to smile, but it's forced and not very convincing. She's scared.]

O-Okay, so... I ruled out any cause for hallucination or dementia. What might have caused me to... [She opens her hands, closes them] Well, appear on this... alien planet. [Martha sounds a liiittle overwhelmed just saying those two words. So unbelievable.]

The, um... The acolytes, is that correct? The acolytes explained my current situation, um... How I got here. And why I have this um... [She shows the camera her glyph.] This marking. Apparently I'm... aligned? to one of the "Firstforged" here? Tri--Tri--Trionic? So, this is... normal? [she titters] Normal. Right.

The thing is, they didn't tell me why I'm here. Just that I essentially... fell through a wormhole in time and space. [Martha looks at the camera, imploring.] I just... I've tried just about everything I can with what I have on me to wake myself from a possible hallucination, and it's... It's not working. But this - this can't be seriously for real?

[She pushes a lock of hair behind her ear, rolls bottom lip between her teeth. Looks up.] The acolytes seemed clueless when I asked them about... about a man named Gregory House. Perhaps... Perhaps one of, um, you have heard or seen him? Or a man named Taub... Chase? Cuddy? Lord knows how Foreman would act if he was--if he was here. [Martha laughs again and actually snorts. Embarrassed, she quickly clears her throat and looks serious again.]

So, um, am I the only human on Cyborgtron? Oh! [surprised!] By the way, my name is Martha. Martha Masters.

I heard something about that. You have the ability to, well, transform and remodel yourself. How is that possible, if you don't mind me asking? Call it medical curiosity.

Well, if you don't mind, who are those I should avoid, and those I can trust? I assume you're a trustworthy Cybertronian. I may not be the best at reading people, but I can easily sense when someone's lying or withholding information well enough.

[A vast majority of that flies completely over his head. In fact, a lot of those words are ones he's never even heard before.]

Well, I guess that's just a coincidence? But I do like that they're the fastest cat you've got over there on earth, 'cause I'm one of the fastest bots on this planet!

Also: Do you always talk this much?

[At first he just huffs, and then pokes at his Link enough to make two images pop up along with the video. Notably of the Autobrand and the Decepticon insignia.]

Okay, something quick. An' it ain't gonna make me uncomfortable, but there's a lot of slaggin' history here... Anyone wearin' a purple brand like that [quick flick of one hand at the Decepticon insigina] you either wanna avoid or be careful around, 'cause they're pit-bent on conquering not just Cybertron but any other planet they can get their hands on.

An' they don't do it nicely. [If there's a way to conquer something nicely.] They call themselves Decepticons. [At the growl in his voice, it's clear he'd like to use some other term, but for clarity's sake...]

Fraggers, the lot of 'em...

It's kinda slightly different dependin' on which reality we're talkin' about, but they're usually always start the war with no slagging warning. At all.

Anyone wearin' a red Autobrand [Another quick flick to the other insignia] have sworn to stop the Decepticons. [Cliffjumper scowls again.]

Since ya look like you're from some type of modern Earth, I hope it should mean somethin' if I tell ya that there's mirror universes of our usual set-up. Ya know the type, everythin' turned on its head than it usually is, usually played for contrast an' laughs in some sci-fi series or other?

[Cliffjumper gives her an arch look, helm cocked. If the implication of his explanation in relations to "mirror universes" aren't clear enough from that, he'll explain further, but let's start there.]

We're just built or forged with it is all. We've got an organ that controls the whole process, called a T-cog.
[Beat.]
The 'T' stands for 'transformation'.

Really? Huh. Okay. [No one's ever actually called him trustworthy. In fact, he's kept a decent amount of secrets and pulled a lot of pranks, so he's actually a bit baffled.]

I guess it depends on which ones you've been talking to. If they're Autobots, then chances are they're pretty trustworthy, though we do have a few odd ones. [Whirl] It's kind of the same with Decepticons. War's over and the FirstForged ain't keen on people murdering each other all over, so mostly we've been keeping a truce.

There have been a few incidents though. Stay away from a mech named Overlord. Far, far away.

[It's both a strength and flaw, believing there is good honesty in all people! Besides, they're pranks and she worked with a major immature asshole, so hey.]

Autobots and Decepticons, right. Okay, thanks. And... Overlord? He sounds... pleasant.

And a transformation cog? Well, if the name fits... Though I am a little curious on how your systems work, as well as your anatomy.

[smile] My job as a doctor doesn't have to end just because my life on Earth apparently has.

A somewhat big coincidence, but... Well, you all appear relatively humanoid. So, hey, maybe we're not so alien to each other after all--

[her giggling cuts short at his last question. now she just looks embarrassed.] I have that habit, yeah.

[She's listening real closely, nodding along, and taking everything in.]

Oh, you mean like that one episode of Star Trek, where Spock has a goatee! [she pauses] You... probably don't know what I'm talking about.

But... Huh. From the way you tell your story, this all does sound very black and white. Like, a pure fairytale of good vs. evil and no grey in between.

[Martha smiles slightly] I sort of like to think there's something good and honest in everyone, but... Recent events sort of changed that. We all have to do things we don't like for what we believe to be the greater good, even if it goes against our morals and beliefs. [She looks away] Though, yeah... It's complicated.

I didn't say I didn't like it! I was just wondering.

Hey, if you ever want to explore Cybertron with someone, just give me a call! I'll be happy to show you around.

That's exactly what I mean, an' actually, I do know what you're talkin' about. The ship I was on crashed on Earth around four million of your years ago, an' then we woke up again in... uh, 1984. [He grins a bit, since this had been what he had hoped for. Though...]

... Goatee! [That he never actually thought about that! Cliffjumper groans and actually facepalms.]

... Sorry. Just sort of connected a mech from that mirrorverse to the mention of Spock you made.

[Robots with goatees.]

I've seen enough crazy slag that simple "black an' white" suits me kinda well. [Cliffjumper huffs, annoyed, but not really annoyed with Martha.] I know some other realities might've had a bit more... gray, if ya want to call it that, but in the end I'd say if you're goin' on a rampage over the galaxy, genocidin' and conquerin', there ain't much "gray" there anyway.

[There's a sweeping gesture with one hand before he makes a fist with it, scowling.]

A little, but it's alright. Around here it might be better to ask than to assume. I'm not human, though my kind were made by humans. I'm a Reploid.

I'm sure there's some research going on. Although, I'm not sure how much of a help I'd be.

They seem like us, minus the glyph. I'm no doctor.

I guess if your war spans millennia, the grey would eventually blur into black and white. Or however you like to put it. Things get... lose. Intentions, ideals, innocent lives... [frown]

[However, whatever malaise that has suddenly come over here disappears, because--]

[oh, her smile reappears] It's just been a rather rough few days. I didn't exactly drop in at the best of times.

And... Thanks. I may take you up on your offer, Cheetor. I know I'll need to venture out soon, forage. There... is food and water here, right? I'm sure you know I mean food humans can consume and thrive on, of course.

Maybe then there's some sort of... malfunction? With the Lambda. Given how things are mostly mechanical here, I wouldn't be surprised if the dimensional tear was somewhat mechanical or robotic in nature as well.

[smirk] I am a doctor. You know, just in case you happen to need help or anything.

[blink] Humans?

You're definitely from an off-shoot universe, then. Humanity has yet to build robotics on your level in my universe. It's interesting, actually.

I don't mean to offend or pry, but you're sentient, right? You have free agency? You don't require someone - a human - to operate or make decisions for you?

...You know, you might be onto something. If only there was a way to get a closer look.

Or better yet, get through the Lambda.

[Not that he enjoys speeding up the dying process, but he had affairs back home.]

That seems to be the case for all the humans I've spoken to here.

I am indeed sentient. I will usually follow the orders of humans, especially those of my superiors, but I can choose to refuse if I want. I am very much like a human, despite my inorganic nature. I have likes, dislikes, hobbies, and form attachments to others.

[He stops to think about this for a moment. Sure of course he's been paying attention to the organics! Except maybe not. But hey, he does know some stuff.]

Well... there's a lake around, and a field a few organics have been using to grow food. I'll take you to see both sometime! Also I think "canned food" appears in the junkpile if you want to go look for it.

You'd be better off asking other organics about that though, they might have some kind of system set up for all I know.

Don't see the "grey" in thinkin' a stable, peaceful society is a blight an' needs to be changed by suddenly assaulting innocent, unknowing populations. Or conquerin' other planets.

[Cliffjumper grunts, but his irritable expression morphs into reluctant laughter at Martha's incredulity.]

Slag no! Just a silly metal detail in the same place an' shape as a goatee made of hair!

Putting it that way, I don't either. I can't really question, however, since I know nothing of your war and ways beyond the basics. So I'd like to take your word for it.

[laughs] I was about to say - your kind have organic or cyborg-esque features, too.

There should be some investigation into the Lambda, then.

And, well, the door's open. I can't say I'll be glad to see you. Not really. Considering my profession. [chuckle]

Oh, great! That's great! I'd love to go. The junkpile... Well, I hear that place isn't very safe. So maybe as a last resort...

In the meantime, do you mind sending me the coordinates to the lake and farms you've mentioned? And, is there a specific person or persons I should speak to in regards to the current human ecosystem?

From my understanding, the FirstForged don't recommend it.

I've got some...problems I might need answers to.

Some others're gonna give ya other information since things do kinda shift dependin' on reality, but if it all ends up at "genocidal conquerin'" no matter how you started I don't have much for that.

["not much" here basically, "nothing and let me punch your faceplates in as well >(". His grin at her laughter is slightly dry, but genuine enough.]

Yeah, I know. You're thinkin' of our faceplates, right? Most of us do kinda share some similarities with the organic set-up.

[He just shrugs. Don't ask him why, he doesn't know. That's just how it is.]

I see. [She won't admit that she may give some of them the benefit of the doubt.]

I don't know. It just poses an interesting theory, that's all. That we may be connected, in a way. There is a belief on my planet that humans as well as Earth were created by extraterrestrials, you know. They'd have a field day with you.
