[Video] DJD PSA: The Royal “We”
[The video starts with a neck up image of a guy that has DECEPTICON for a FACE. Well, that's never a good sign. And depending on Tarn's naughty list, things might just get a little worse (for you). But hey! At least he's playing some classy music in the background.]
I'd like to interrupt everyone getting along so well with one another to bring you this message: This is the DJD.
For those of you who don't know our work, I suggest you ask someone more familiar with the role we play. Someone like the medic Ambulon. [The name positively rolls off his tongue.] I believe you can find him in 'Nexus Prime's' quadrant.
[Kids, this is what happens when you don't lock your link posts; someone's liable to spam Ctrl + F. Sometimes those people have lists. Sometimes they're predators.]
Furthermore, if any of you would like to report a Decepticon that has transgressed, my door is always open and any reports will be investigated. You may contact me at this frequency.
[Deadlock, Overlord, you'll notice he hasn't mentioned your names. Feel free to feel safe.]
And, Pharma, I would like a word.
To the rest of you, I look forward to your cooperation. Some of you will be hearing from me shortly.
[The music stops. There's a moment of silence where it's just Tarn's mask and his glowing eyes staring at the camera. Two seconds later and then the video cuts.]

Now there is a novel concept.
[What is the opposite of Deception? Being Blatant? If that is the case, Misfire is probably the single most transgressy Decepticon he's currently met.]
PRIVATE;
Lord Megatron?
PRIVATE;
PRIVATE;
Please don't turn me, sir, I'd like to think I've been pretty good at helping out and all.
PRIVATE; 1/?
PRIVATE; 2/?
PRIVATE; 3/?
PRIVATE; DONE
Is this the Decepticon Justice Division?
[You weren't the only one that mentioned it to him.]
PRIVATE;
I don't... think the others are with him? But he's still very powerful. He's loyal to you.
[Crying. Crying on the inside.]
PRIVATE;
[Which means it's someone that Megatron is very, very interested in talking to.]
You sound worried, Fulcrum. Concerned about your past 'transgressions,' perhaps?
PRIVATE;
[There's a loud cycle of Fulcrum's vents before he feels ready to talk again.]
Um. A bit. I-- I like not dying very much, and I'm not real keen on the potential of being, you know, slowly tortured to death by anyone. Especially if their name is Tarn. Should I not worry?
PRIVATE;
PRIVATE;

PRIVATE;
On the inside he's squealing in glee. Kinda sounds like slowly compressing a petrorabit under a tank
An unfortunate reality we seek to minimize, Megatron.
[Don't worry boss! He's got you covered! Misfire is TOTALLY on the list and they are gonna murder him SO GOOD in YOUR NAME.]
Oh, Tarn, your fanaticism is to your credit.
Is there a Decepticon handbook?
[He smirks on the outside...but he's actually curious about this. Decepticon 'rules' had been vague to him so far. Most of them involve not screwing with his orders, which are ones he approves of.]
Credit where credit is due, but it's the inpiring FIGURE that inspires so much inspiration
And it is more a bible of sorts. (For him, of course. Also, discreet, but high praise.)
He does radiate inspiring inspiration. Especially under his helmet.
[He chuckles.] You cannot have many friends in your line of work.
Of course, you do not plan to be impeding my goals here, I'm certain...or any of the mechs who I have currently employed?
You're his muse, Megatron, golden locks and all!
[When Megatron leans forward on his end, Tarn inclines his head graciously.] We do what we must to further your goals.
The current team I lead is enough. United under your banner, we have no need of anything else.
[But ah, now there's a rub indeed. Y'see, Megatron, while you're glorious, you're still so preciously young. And while adorable, Tarn's from your future. As much as he's loath to say it (which is why he won't), he knows some of these traitors better than you do. He knows what they're capable of, and more than that, he knows what they're guilty of. These things haven't happened in your time yet, and he has no doubt you'd approve of his actions if you had the full picture. As it is, well...
And to compound the issue, he's seen what the 'First Forged' have warned about the fate of the glyphless. And you, he can't help but notice, do not bear their mark.]
I have only your best interests at heart, Megatron. [And he means that with only the utmost sincerity.]
You've written songs to his poetry, haven't you.
[Which is interesting. Tarn, eloquent, brutal, does remind Megatron of himself. In every rumor he has heard about you, he's also heard the whispers of power, and that power is very compelling. Surely, there's a way to make this work.]
I am glad to hear we're on the same page...
Because my cause is important. To me. To you. To the millions of mechs on Cybertron looking to have a future they can earn. [Through their own prowess, and not limited by what they are forged into.]
If anyone should interfere with the Decepticons who are building my portal home, I will be unable to accomplish these goals.
All you've worked for would be naught.
~*~WOULD YOU LIKE TO HEAR THEM??~*~ He sings them in the washracks. No one has ever complained!
[Oh gosh, look at you Megatron, so young and still accomplishing so much! If it were possible, he'd be enamoured with your drive all over again.]
I'm sure I can provide appropriate incentive for your Decepticons to remain diligent in their work.
[He'd offer to do more, but he's promised himself that he won't interfere with your development. Better to let this baby Megatron blossom fully under the power of only his own influence. It isn't Tarn's place to play a role in shaping this magnificent creature. No, their leader must (and will) grow by nature of his own choices.
But it's so hard to resist taking Megatron onto his lap and reading him a bedtime story, because seriously, LOOK HOW PRECOCIOUS THE BABY IS!! Omg, and he's still got his red paint and everything.]
YES, YES I WOULD. It would get these mining songs out of my head. [Locked]
And then Tarn serenaded Megatron from below a balcony covered in roses?
What light from yonder window breaks? [Locked forever]
Kaon is the east, and Megatron the sun. Rise up, fair sun, and kill the envious
yup. Pretty much
It was surprising how well the quote could work
I kind of got that feeling, too. He'd be saying it everywhere.
#1. Acquire Shakespeare #2. Ctrl + F find and replace #3 ??? #4. Profit!

Locked
Locked
[Megatron glances over the post again.] I imagined worse.
Locked
Locked
[Tarn seems well-read and reasonable from the post. He wants to know more about what insidious nature lies beneath.]
[After another moment, he remembers something Wing said to him, and adds a simple:]
Please.
Locked
Why do you want mechs to follow you? be willing to die for you? Because they believe in your vision? Because they're strong?
Or because they're cowards?
Locked
[He starts, and then stops, because he's just realized what you mean.]
...
You have a point. [A good one.] Fear can be a powerful motivator, but it is not the main vehicle I wish to use.
Locked
[A rueful half-smile.] I never did.
