[Before, Ambulon's shoddy red-white paint job mostly consisted of scratches, patches, and a few grooves. Now, however, most of his true colors are showing through on his chest and down his right arm, splattered with chipping white. Been too busy, too stressed, not caring anymore - whatever you wish to believe, as it's probably a likely combination of all three. Nonetheless, he does look stressed, if not irritated, annoyed, and... a little scared.]

I'm not sure who I go to for this specific request, but I am in need of a weapon. I don't suppose we have any of those lying around? [He's too on edge to even smirk at his own weak joke.] I don't even think we have any rules on firearm possession on this Cybertron, so I like to believe I don't have to trudge through paperwork in order to get one. [The hesitation is an unspoken "I'll steal something if I must."]

I figure, however, that those who possess the means of attaining a weapon would be those affiliated with the local law enforcement.

I'd really prefer going about this the more "legal" way, instead of resorting to the black market - or the equivalent here - or speaking to the Firstforged. Considering the fact there are psychopaths still running rampant, I doubt they'd offer much in way of protection. [The word burns with embarrassment.]

Also, I highly recommend avoiding Tarn. And for the police officers - if you do attempt to apprehend him, you'd best do so in an organized pack with all the force you've got. [He's not gonna admit you'd probably fail, however, because that's not good mojo.]

Who is this Tarn anyway? Aside from attempting to be the Decepticons new poster boy.

Tarn is part of the Decepticon Justice Division; their leader. They seek out, torture, and destroy Decepticon traitors. They are brutal, ruthless, sadistic lunatics devoted to the "Decepticon cause". Completely forgetting the war is over in my universe.

You can imagine where I stand with them.

I'm not sure how a weapon you're unfamiliar with will help.

It's not as if I've never handled a weapon before. The basics and precautions should be enough, depending on the firearm. Your swords, however; no, I wouldn't make very good usage of those. Besides just flat out stabbing and using them like knives.

Besides, I'd rather have some form of protection than none at all.

Then do what you do well. There's more than one way of fighting back, Ambulon. If we could find a way to render his power harmless, it would help a lot of us, not just you.

I can't really speak to the gun request as I'm not terribly fond of them myself, but I can at least offer some self defense training if that would help bring you peace of mind?

We can help each other then. Because I've been of the mind to ask your assistance in a brush up of my anatomy knowledge. It's critical in some of my finer techniques for disabling opponents.

Never thought I'd hear a medic want a weapon so badly.

All right, so he doesn't know everything. But my knowledge on Tarn is limited as well. If I could create something that disabled his abilities, I would do so in a sparkpulse. But I need the stats, the information. Unless there is someone here who could easily take care of him.

I'd place bets on one of the Firstforged. He's powerful, but no, Tarn's not a god. Yet I can't trust them. Not until push comes to shove do they actually seem to take action. Even then they seem... indifferent, almost. As if they'd rather let things play out and see what happens. Observers. If the results don't suit them, they step in.

Yes, I may be focusing on weapons here. But you can't talk reason to Tarn. You can't use logic to wind him down. And it wouldn't be the first time medical science has contributed to building weapons.

Using his ignorance as a weapon is one thing, but knowing how to do so... I couldn't tell you. Not now. But I'm more than happy to figure something out. Until then, just knowing I have a way to stay alive to do so would be nice.

I didn't drop it-- [ARGH] It's not as simple as that. Right now, my concern is finding a way to protect and defend myself if necessary. How to permanently deal with Tarn comes later.

I'd be more than happy to offer you my services in return. I can't say I'll have the solution to all your queries and problems, but... I'll do my best.

Believe you me, if there were any other way, I'd try and avoid them as much as possible.

However, given recent events, something to protect myself with sounds like a pretty damn good idea.

I just need the knowledge, I can apply it on my own. I haven't had a good course since the early war and since then Crystal City frame engineering has advanced differently because we were so far removed. So I am sadly not up-to-date on any contemporary differences that might exist.

That said, they are handy techniques for dealing with mechs in ways that require less strength. Your medical knowledge is an advantage in that way.

Depending on what you want, I should be able to provide some sort of weapon... or weapons. I'm mostly limited due to the fact of lacking in parts, standard or easily custom made or not, but I have a small set-up.
