[[inevitable] Video | LOCKED from Tarn]
[Before, Ambulon's shoddy red-white paint job mostly consisted of scratches, patches, and a few grooves. Now, however, most of his true colors are showing through on his chest and down his right arm, splattered with chipping white. Been too busy, too stressed, not caring anymore - whatever you wish to believe, as it's probably a likely combination of all three. Nonetheless, he does look stressed, if not irritated, annoyed, and... a little scared.]
I'm not sure who I go to for this specific request, but I am in need of a weapon. I don't suppose we have any of those lying around? [He's too on edge to even smirk at his own weak joke.] I don't even think we have any rules on firearm possession on this Cybertron, so I like to believe I don't have to trudge through paperwork in order to get one. [The hesitation is an unspoken "I'll steal something if I must."]
I figure, however, that those who possess the means of attaining a weapon would be those affiliated with the local law enforcement.
I'd really prefer going about this the more "legal" way, instead of resorting to the black market - or the equivalent here - or speaking to the Firstforged. Considering the fact there are psychopaths still running rampant, I doubt they'd offer much in way of protection. [The word burns with embarrassment.]
[a beat]
Also, I highly recommend avoiding Tarn. And for the police officers - if you do attempt to apprehend him, you'd best do so in an organized pack with all the force you've got. [He's not gonna admit you'd probably fail, however, because that's not good mojo.]

If there was some possible way of disrupting his vocalizer, thus rendering his ability to vocally manipulate a spark... [huff] Wouldn't that be something.
And... thank you. Again.
His vocalizer? ... [WAT.] He can manipulate sparks!?
[You'll have to pardon him, he hasn't had a chance to talk to Drift yet so this is a whole lot of WTF.]
[And yes, that's definitely his hand creeping up to hold chassis over his spark chamber. He knows what an exploding spark feels like, he'd rather not have a repeat, TYVM.]
How...how does he do that?
Yes. He can manipulate sparks with his voice. Destroy them completely. I'm only assuming it's his vocalizer. Whether it has a certain program, modulator, or the power comes directly from his spark. I wouldn't be surprised if it was the latter. Or all three. [ack]
He... From what I've gathered, Tarn uses various vocal fluctuations and nuances in his speech that trigger certain reactions from a spark. Not entirely sure on all the frequencies used, however, or if certain words have certain impacts.
It's all very vague, unfortunately. I wish I knew more, believe me.
That's what we have each other for.]With his voice...? [That's...terrifying.] Is there a range? Do you only have to hear him? Rather...can he do this over the Link? [YIKES]
Regardless...a case where "talking things over" is not the best of options. [There's only one kind of spark manipulation Wing wants to do and he's starting to think he should get on that sooner rather than later...]
Vocalizer is a place to start. The neck tends to be a vulnerable area anyway, but is usually well guarded because of that.

[omg pls][Ambulon shakes his head] Again, I don't know the details. I don't know how it works, just that it is very effective.
If you'll pardon the pun, but Tarn's built like a tank. It's possible you could throw a grenade at him, and he'd only suffer a scratch. I can only imagine the amount of high voltage I'd need to pump into his EM field before it'd disable or offline him.
[Tarn may or may not be as strong as Ambulon suggests, but come on. It's the DJD. There's probably people out there who think Tarn has an extra head tucked away in his chest.]
So even if he has weaknesses they're going to hard to find and manipulate. [He muses] He's probably slow if he's that big and heavy?
[Or something else equally horrific.] There must be some way to get information. I wonder if other Decepticons from our universe might know something. Someone had to do his maintenance and upgrades right?
[shrugs] Perhaps. He may not be very agile, true. I guess we can count speed on our side. Maybe. Again, I know only the very basics about Tarn. He could be hiding fifty different laser guns on his person for all I know.
We may have to try for another approach.
But at the very least Ambulon, I should be able to teach you a few things about getting away from him, or avoiding capture in the first place.
