The Zone: Part Two
Thanks to the distraction caused by the various creatures and anomalies, and the interference from the ever-increasing radiation, pinpointing the fallen 'meteor' and likely source of the attacks may have been difficult up until now.
But efforts to locate it have paid off.
South-west of Haven, there is a ridged valley that did not exist a week ago. In it's center is a massive, sprawling power plant, exhaust towers rising up to the horizon. It is literally crawling with more mutants.
As if that was not ominous enough, it is a nuclear power-plant.
Anyone who has been to Earth or knows their human history - or happen to be from a Tyran universe - may recognize it for what it is: Chernobyl, straight out of some alternate Ukraine. The facility is tucked in the middle of the valley like it landed there, edges slightly off and melded into the landscape, but entirely intact in it's crumbling, ominous glory. Despite being of human-make, the building is devoid of functional electric lights, the very air around it seeming to leech the light out of the surroundings, but it is far from lacking in 'living' activity.
The concentration of anomalies, radiation, and Lambda-like energy signatures is at it's strongest here, surrounding the moldering facility. Any sensors point to the readings only getting worse on the inside.
Any organics or particularly weak-armored Cybertronians are going to want protective shielding of some variety to participate in this attack. The radiation in this valley is well beyond safe levels, and only on the rise. Any attempts to simply attack from the air (unfortunately) do little damage, the majority of any ordnance hitting some sort of storm cloud-like anomaly thundering with increasing intensity above the facility.
It looks like it might be growing. Time is running out.
You will have to enter to find the source.
[[Mod Note: Given modly time constraints, the following prompts are not intended to be NPC'd, but are instead to serve as a vague story-line for the assault. Feel free to use them, pick and chose only ones that interest you, or to thread your own attack as you please! However, once the Source is reached, a final prompt will be posted when it is destroyed, (or when the event comes to a close a week from today.)
And as a side-note, this plot contains SPOILERS to the end of the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series.]]

[HE'S STABBING CRITTERS NOW SENTINEL ARE YOU HAPPY. He's clearly starting to get fatigued, trying to keep boogymonsters off of Sentinel and Blurr as they make their way out.
and oh god is he ever going to apologize for being a little shit today oooooooh man.]
no subject
Why don't you yell a little louder, I don't think the ones at the back heard you! [GODDDDD being an ass is hard when you're so irradiated.]
Grab my shield off Blurr if you need it, exit should be-- [woops knees almost gave out. he stays upright, though and blurr stays on his shoulder. somehow. the power of jerk.]
no subject
Sorry guys, no more GPS for you.]
no subject
Then he stabs a critter in the face and bashes it with the shield because that looks cool.]
We're close, right?

[all the fight's suddenly gone from his words. when blurr passes out, sentinel can't help but instantly think the worse and slows down, tilting his head slightly.
a few seconds later, he shakes himself and follows drift.

Sentinel don't be cry :<]

Drift grabs Sentinel by the arm, intending to help him along. He only helps for a few steps before falling flat on his face just short of the exit and
just laying there.
Sorry Sentinel. Good luck with two useless losers.]
no subject
and. well. he just kind of stares dumbly at where drift hit the floor then back at blurr.
two seconds later, he's also unconscious on the ground.
#teamawesome.]

But it's not long before Bulk stumbles across their unconcious bodies. After quickly checking for life sings. He manages to pick the three of them up, and lug them to Knock Out's medbay.]
no subject
Knock Out will welcome Bulkhead at the medbay with a raised brow and a head-tilt.]
Please tell me you all didn't decide to get wasted without telling one invited me. [You are such lousy friends sometimes.]
no subject
He turns serious, though. Even if he is worried.]
Doc...I found these guys just inside that plant givin' ofgradiation. You got equipment or somethin'? I couldn't leave them there and they look likecould use medical help besides the radiation. [Specially Blurr, who's evidently slowly turning grey.]
no subject
With the help of the acolytes I we made the clinic able to withstand and block high levels of radiation. The organics are not allowed inside here either.
[Knock Out walks over him, gesturing vaguely to a corridor to the left as he checks Blurr's vitals first and then the other mechs.]
I'll lead you to the decontamination zone. You are taking a bath as well. [And he will need one once he's done examining the guys.
The medic walks into the corridor, expecting Bulkhead to follow him, and takes a look at the portable Geiger counter he carries around since the mess started.] Do you know for how long they were in there? His radiation levels are higher than most of my other patients.
