It's an animal, Whirl. It wouldn't be able to activate any weapons, and if it could, it wouldn't have any control over it... and given the way air-pressure, g-forces and other related forces act on unprotected organic bodies, I wouldn't recommend it.

Unless you want it to die from said forces, or crash when it can't control its flight.
