[action; Megatronus' Temple]
[Near the northern tip of the Haven, a visitor began to noiselessly pass into the valley of Megatronus' quadrant. While it did have the machinery to stay aloft, it was less a jet and more a flying frame tightly built around a large cannon - a gunship of sorts, and one of alien make. Fixed to it's underside was a box. Just a dull box. Any superficial decoration had been removed.]
[Upon reaching the different abodes of the quadrant, it lowered to a hover, engines still silent. The package was deposited onto the ground, and the craft banked to the left before changing back. Looks like it- now a he, was waiting for someone.]

I am here for an exchange.

Oh, my apologize I had no idea I was interrupting something. Something for Megatron?

[The box may have had it's wrapping removed (it looked stupid okay) but Knockout may recognize it was one of the containers that had been spilling out of the Lambda as of late.]
[Shockwave must have really wanted whatever he was being given to actually stop what he was doing, fly over from his quadrant, and sit here to wait.]
no subject
[But presents are nicer if they are wrapped! He does recognize it, though.] You got a present for him? How cute.
no subject
I am exchanging this for a cortical psychic patch.
[One that quite literally had his name on it. This box just also happened to have the same name, but was intended for the... other one. With the pet.]
no subject
Ah, one of those. [Knock Out's face is blank form expression. Pokerface all the way.] It seems like a fitting present. Do you know what's in that box?
no subject
[It was how he could tell it wasn't his, actually. He had no use for things meant for a giant mechaworm.]
[Oh, and there was a parachute in there. He was just guessing this all had meaning to the other Shockwave and didn't really care enough to rifle through it once he opened the box.]
no subject
[And let's be honest, is better to keep that thing not hungry.]
I never saw anything like him in our universe, and you?
no subject
[The second question earns a bit of a pause - Knockout didn't seem like he was all that old, a part of him was curious if he had seen Cybertron while it still had some life on it.]
There were large creatures in the distant past.
[that were revived]Of a different kind.no subject
Knock Out looks very interested all of sudden] Large creatures other than drillers?
1/2
[Does he look like the type of person who understands the purpose of randomly giving gifts? He just wants his Patch ok.]
2/2
[Ones that could grow to be particularly large, if the preliminary results are accurate.]
Re: 2/2
But they're all extinct now, right?
[Are you sure that's a goo idea? Never breed something that can eat you whole in one bite.]
no subject
[Knowing Shockwave, that's a no.]
They do not appear to be present on this Cybertron.
no subject
I don't want to bother you further. [Knock Out smiles and gestures around.] I hope you get your gift quickly.
on his way out?
Going somewhere?
sure!
...
[He remembers this voice.]

[Rhetorical question! The answer is: the kind of answer you give when you're up to something shady.]
no subject
[Yeah no, he doesn't have to talk about his business. He's just going to continue along his path.]

socialidle. As though there was time for such things. A package was tucked under his arm and it didn't take too long for him to find what he was looking for. Shockwaves had a look and it wasn't exactly a hard look to spot. But oh he was tiny like the previous alternate of his. And again not nearly as fitted for battle.
And so. The approach begins.]
no subject
[Despite being the shorter of the two, he didn't appear to be intimidated by size as the distance closed between them. In fact, there was barely any reaction at all, save for him making eye contact. He wasn't here to play petty games, he was here to get his patch and go home.]
no subject
Shockwave stands before his alternate, staring at him silently, his gaze only moving to glance at the box on the ground for no more than a second. Within a few moments the ground rumbles and the box is pulled into a newly formed hole in the ground.
He holds out the box meant for his alternate.]
What is it?
[Just brief small talk. He was curious just what the device within the box he was handing over did.]
no subject
His remaining hand reaches out to retrieve it, dropping the actual container to the ground to reveal the actual item - a coiled black cable inside.]
It is part of a procedure used to extract information from prisoners.
no subject
How does this procedure work?
they need an architect, a forger, a chemist...
[Naturally, this would require quite a bit of mental training to do properly, but the physical process itself was fairly simple.]
A medical officer oversees the participant's bodies and keeps them stabilized.
[In the standard procedure, anyway.]
this clearly could be done more efficiently
[If it required the prisoner to be hooked up to another and not simply a computer, it was likely. Interesting.]
Should you ever find one to use it on, I wish to witness the procedure.
what? i cant hear you over the inception horns
[There's a thoughtful pause as he reflects on the offer, as the procedure would obviously be frowned upon if it got out into open. It also left the two participants rather exposed. Nonetheless, he was intrigued enough by his alternate self to consider it if the circumstances are right.]
[A... single nod is the response.]
I will contact you if the opportunity presents itself.
THE REAPERS ARE COMING

He followed the ship for awhile, moving as fast as he can (He was no Jet or Joe). Soon enough when he got on a level enough ground he signaled the ship, just to gauge its purpose here.]
no subject
[But then, his optic drifts towards the signal at the top of that hill. Looks like you have his attention, Albert. What do?]
no subject
He shouldn't be surprised, as much as he is at the moment.]
...didn't realize you guys could do that.

It is innate to our species.
