[Melan hesitates a few seconds. Does that thing even work?]

They... look like me, except red and pink for Eryun, silver and black for Pyon. They were with me just before I was sent here... As was the Monomakia attacking us. The... civilians? amongst you, be careful, that creature is really agressive. For the others, just aim for the eyes.

[The metal creature had assured him he wasn't the only one able to fight here. With a little luck, the rogue experiment would be killed soon and his duty would be fulfilled.]

If the... metal... servant... is right, you can't go back to your home dimension? We are blocked here?

[Melan doesn't look really disturbed by the idea: universe hopping, he is quite familiar with the concept.]

It's really not the funny world...?

Nodding, Ventus turns to hop back upon his board.]

All right! Let's go!

[And with that he takes off, glancing over his shoulder at Melan.]

[Melan takes off right after Ventus, keeping pace with the glider. The small machine the human was riding on was interesting. No one in the funny world had something like that.]

The... thing you are flying on... I never saw a machine like that. Did you make it yourself?

[In the meantime he tries to figure out which direction is the best to start off. He decides the best place would be the closest, so he directs the glider down towards the lake that stands at the base of the mountain Prima's temple is located.]

This? Oh- well...no, not really. You remember the Keyblade I showed you earlier, right?

[Melan activates his facemask just the time to take a good scan around, before retracting it. Outside of battles, it's pretty much useless.]

Yes, I remember. The key sword. It can make machines?

[Ventus tilts his head a little at that. He looks around too, though he's never run into any problems within Haven, discounting the deterioration of the Glyphless.]

It's...actually the same thing. It changes into this- and back.

[Melan is not really surprised by the explanation: after all, on Brigadoon, a four inches ampoule can change into a three tons Combat Monomakia. There is still something bothering him, though.]

So when you fly... You can't use your sword? [Melan frowns.] That's dangerous.

Well...not in the usual way. I can still kinda fight with my glider.

[Melan stares. He does that often.]

You can fight... with your machine?
What does it do?

[He grins, nodding.]

It can't do as much as when it's in Keyblade form, but I can maneuver it to hit things. Came in really handy when I ran into Unversed along the Lanes Between.

[Okay, you lost him again. "Lanes Between"?]

... is it dangerous?

[Yeah, he notes that look.] Um, they're like...pathways between worlds. Not really sure how else to describe them.

Not a whole lot use them to travel- I think it's only for Keyblade masters. We need to wear armor while traveling through them though, so I guess there's some danger to them. -aside from finding Unversed there, anyway. Normally I don't think they're supposed to be there.

So you travel between worlds on those "Lanes Between"? [Okay, now he is jealous: he would love to do that!] Hm.

[The knight looked down at the ground. They flew pretty fast, and he could see a lake not that far away.]

[The boy nods.] Yeah, that's right.

I do! I usually wear it when I'm out patrolling outside of the Haven.

[Ventus glances down as Melan does.] Oh, down there's where Alpha Trion's temple is. The farm's also within that area, and the lake's pretty easy to see.

Will you wear It when we will spar? [ Because they WILL spar. Also, patrolling? That would be great!] I can accompagny you on patrol if you need it.

Alpha... Trion? [Weird name...] Can you swim in that lake? No dangerous creatures in it?

Huh? Oh yeah, I will. [It might be safer since he's not sure how Melan fights.]

I wouldn't mind the company for patrols. It'd probably be better anyway. So far I haven't caught anything coming out of the Badlands, but I guess you never know.

Hmm. Well, I know Rung said he got pushed into it once. It seems like normal water to me, but I don't know if anything lives in it.

[It would be safer indeed, because once he is sure you can hold your own, he won't hold back XD ]

I... need something to do. I do like staying idle for too long. [Melan admitted, frowning slightly.] My world was a dangerous one. I don't know what to do when there is "peace". [The Knight sighed.]
