[The video feed comes on to show Miko, a human girl with pink and black hair, sitting in a sprawled out manner. She has a lazy, self satisfied smirk in place and has a guitar case propped up next to her, while she leans back against an amp.]

So, I'm on Cybertron, and not just any Cybertron, a new one just being built. This rocks.

And not having to deal with some dorky space suit, total bonus.

Well I'm Miko, and I'm looking to see if there is anyone here that I know. Course I am totally up for meeting new people too!

[She pauses for a moment like she is going to shut off the communicator before she looks back up, an almost blank expression on her face, only a little bit of sadness showing through.]

Bulkhead, if you are here get a hold of me right away, okay?

Why be different? What's wrong with being like others? There's noting wrong with other people...most people are cool. And if it matters so much, there are better ways at being different. Like, I dunno, what you do, instead of what you look like. [Shrugs.] But I'm really used to everyone having dark hair where I'm from, unless you're too old for that. But people can wear their hair different ways, cut it different ways. And then there are different eye colors and body shapes and skin colors and all sorts of different clothes....

Boxer? What's that?

Huh, so I guess my language is in your world after all.

[Blinks.] That...doesn't make sense. How could you be born with it if it doens't exist in your world? And if it did existed in your world and you were born with it, your probably would've known by now--signs of bending usually show up early when people are really young. And, y'know...because of that your world would probably know about it, if it did exist. It'd be too conspicuous to pass by anyone's notice.

Well everyone has those differences. But when it comes down to it, I look like my parents, and I want to look different from them.

[Because the further she can be from them the better in her book.]

A boxer is someone who does Boxing, it's a type of fighting that people on earth like to watch matches of.

Maybe, I mean it depends on if things mean the same thing, cause if not it just looks similar.

Awww I was hoping it might be something that could show up later. And who knows maybe ending up in a funky new dimension means that I could have shown up suddenly.

Why would you want to look different from your parents? [So confused. Korra likes taking after her folks.]

[OOC: Oh Korra, not quite understanding that not everyone has good relationships with their parents. Though in all seriousness, my headcanon: how often did Korra even get to see her parents after being identified as the Avatar? She apparently had to go down and visit her parents from the compound! So, I think deep down Korra feels a little deprived of her parents though they weren't dead, so she's intellectually more invested in them/really would like statements of 'you're just like your mother/father'/actually rather heroworships them. Hence Korra's confusion at not wanting to look like your parents. Because being closer to them is great in her book.]

Haven't really met anyone here who suddenly showed new powers after getting taken from home.

...Y'know, I can show you the martial forms of bending at least. Anyone can do those. And with some tweaks here and there, you've got some form of self-defense set up!

Because, they are old-fashioned and think they know all the best for me. They don't want to let me pick what to do with my life. The less like them they are the better.

'Rock out?' [If they hadn't been discussing how Miko probably couldn't bend, Korra would've wondered if that was slang for earthbending.] What's that?

Sure. Does your temple have an arena to practice in?

Rocking out is... playing music, but like rock music and such. You can't really rock out on a piano.

Um, I don't know, but there is a lot of craters outside, I'm sure the big guy here wouldn't mind us using one of the smaller ones.

Oh, it's another word for playing music! Cool, what instrument do you play? I haven't heard--yeesh, I don't think I've really heard any music since getting stranded here!

[Now Korra's in awe. She loves music.]

Yeah, but it kind of means playing really hard too. I play the electric guitar, and some piano. Really, there should always be music, it's awesome~!

[Music was a big part of what has drawn her and Bulkhead together, so music was even more special to Miko.]

[Spirits, Korra missed the radio back home, and not just the music on there, but the radio plays, the talk shows, Shiro Shinobi, the probending.]

Got it. I'm with Megatronus Prime. I'll have to travel to your temple some time. Hmmm...got anything in the way of clothes that'd be good for fighting. Like, loose pants, good boots? I know things are scarce here, but I'm not sure if you already have that or what.

[She pulls her guitar case over to her side and pops the latches open and brings the instrument out. After a moment of shuffling she has the comm propped up in the lid of the case so that it was still showing her, and now her guitar that was out.]

I'm guessing you know what guitar is, since you only sounded curious about the electric part. These are the pick ups, they catch the sound that the guitar strings make, instead of the hollow body of an acustic guitar to amplify the sound, these capture the sound, and transfer it, through a cord plugged into this cord here, to the amp behind me. The amp is just basically a giant speaker but they are special made to handle the intense notes from instruments.

[As she had explained it she had pointed to and shown everything she was talking about, even strumming a note so that Korra could hear how soft it sounded without the amp.]

Other clothes? Just what I've got on, unless there is other stuff our size around I'll have to deal with this.

We'll make do, then. Though, uh, keep checking the junkyard? I've been able to find another pair of clothes--

And there was this one time Blurr and I found this weird wand thing that instantly changed a person's clothes into a skirt thing....

Kind of... I mean the notes are still the same but... it's... like the difference between a regular guitar and a horn, they make the same note but because of what they are they sound different. If that makes sense. If I find a way to get this thing all working I will play it for you so you can hear for yourself.

I'll keep a look out for some good stuff to use.
