One thing I forgot to ask the other is what are these glyphs supposed to be for?

Oh yeah- they protect us, in a way. The Lambda- it's hard to miss if you look up at the sky- and the Badlands, sometimes things come through from other worlds that aren't marked by a glyph. They eventually go crazy and start attacking everything in sight.

I'm not sure about those, but that'd be my first guess. I haven't seen anything like those before.

The Firstforged...didn't know how to help those that arrived without glyphs. The only way they could be dealt with was to get rid of them.

Oddly enough, giant rampaging centipedes is more of the norm where I'm from.

Really? Makes me wonder what kind of place you're from.

If it's not giant centipedes, it's some other mutated creature. My world's a good example for why humans shouldn't try and play God.
