[ He's not really a communications mech. That wasn't his job. His job had always been to make the hard decisions, be the first one in there, the one to make the bold movements. He used comms only when necessary. ]

[ ...That probably gets the point across. It's about the most he can articulate at this level of fury. It was hard to think, and he just clutches at the air uselessly, balling his hands into fists. ]

[ Grimlock obviously missed the memo about the whole rip in space-time and ancient Cybertron thing. To be fair, from the number of terrorpede corpses splattered around, seems like he's settled in okay. He picks up a foot, stomping on one of the still twitching corpses, splattering more goo everywhere. ]

Rrrgh. Bugs.

[Yes, something is very off. Not that Grimlock has ever been... verbose. But the speech pattern is all wrong.]

Your team? I haven't seen anyone with a frame type resembling our own since I arrived here, which, unfortunately, leads me to conclude you are the only member of your team currently on the planet.

[He peers closer.]

[ Not what he wanted to hear. He has a temper tantrum in reflex, pretty much putting his fist through some rock wall.

[The explosion is a surprise, to say the least. He can't recall Grimlock ever being this temperamental before. Perceptor speaks a bit more... consolingly. Or tries to.]

[He straightens up, shoving himself off the bed he'd been using.]

[ Things have changed, obviously. ]

[ That, he remembers vividly. All that pain. Shockwave's stress tests, being pulled apart while he was still online...

He shakes his head, snarling. ]

Shockwave? When did you run across Shockwave...?

[That... would explain a lot. In various terrible ways.]

Where are you, Grimlock? Have you coordinates to send?

Not sure.

[ Could have been days, but it felt like weeks he was there. ]

[ Remember that special call you informed him of? Then shooed everyone out and then disappeared after? Yeah. That.

He has no idea how to use the link to ping coordinates, so instead he goes about pinging his location the old fashioned comm way. ]

[He trails off, thinking, putting pieces together. He hadn't read the transmission, it was flagged for Grimlock only. But hadn't one of the others mentioned-- and then they'd all up and vanished.]

That's why you vanished? Do you have any idea what happened to the Ark in your absence? We nearly lost the wretched thing without you at your post! Why didn't you inform anyone?

[Okay so he may be ranting, but he's also moving. Despite the British Fit, anything involving Shockwave can't have been good. And he'd like to run what checks he can.]

[ He's not in the mood. ]

[ Technically he was already defying Optimus's orders. Pretty good reasons not to run to tell everyone he'd done bad. ]

[ Sure is. Perceptor should be fairly used to Grimlock's level of stubbornness, though. If he didn't want to do something-- well he certainly wasn't gonna do it. ]

Enough to know all are glitched.

[Used to it, certainly. Enjoyed it, not so much. It makes getting to the bottom of this weirdness incredibly frustrating for someone who always wanted to know more. But, at least the stubbornness isn't different.]

I believe our definitions of "glitched" have always been somewhat differing. Can you be more specific, or shall I wait until I arrive to carry on this conversation?
