[Broadcasting perched on an outcropping over a lava flow, seemingly sounding unbothered by the misstep into a sideways universe--first rule of Decepticon Club is never let em know you're scared.]

So, this looks like Cybertron--actually, a lot like the one I just came from. But from my recon, it's either a time, a space, or a time and space displacement.

Little bee, are you here? [elaborating] I'm looking for an Autobot named Bumblebee. About this high--[indicates short, midchest height]--gold, kinda stout. I'll also accept Metalhawk, Wheeljack - Soundwave? How about Prowl, with my luck he's here. [Bueller?]

--For the rest of you, my name is Starscream. Maybe you've heard of me. [and he's smirking a little self-indulgently at the thought. No matter how dangerous or inconvenient it might be to be preknown in a brave new world, it's nice to be important.]

That's right, his name's Blurr. A racer.

[Evaluating this whole situation within a couple nanokliks, deciding if he trusts incorrectly the worst that can happen here is getting majorly beaten up. He can handle that.] I don't want to talk about him--or this--over this link in great detail, but I'll tell you in person. Just you and me. How's that sound?

that would be a different version of me yes while I am not a racer per see I do live up to the name.

[The worse that it can happen, according to Blurr is that he ends killed. It's not something he would like to experience anytime soon, let's hope it doesn't happen.] Sounds suicidal if you ask me BUT fine we can meet in front of Vector's temple.

[His FirstForged temple, filled mostly with people he trust.]

[he snerks at the suicidal part.] No gears, no glory. I'll be there soon.

[And within a couple of minutes, he's transforming out of vehicle mode and landing in front of the temple, glancing around expectantly.]

[Blurr met many Starscreams before, he knows better than take anything for granted.

As promise, Blurr was waiting for him here.] Thatwasfast. I like fast. [A compliment of sort, get.] If you follow me inside we can talk more privately in there.

High praise. [at least, making the judgement of his world's Blurr, who actually seems a lot less genial. ~~But Screamer is biased.~~]

Am I allowed in there? [he nodded towards the temple, starting to walk towards it anyway because what even are rules, but he might as well make a show like he's following them. Or thinking about following them.]

Credit where credit is due they say. [This one isn't less proud than the one Starscream know but just as hard with Decepticons, so yeah it's rare of him to give praise.]

You are allowed everywhere as long as you don't cause trouble The Firstforged and their direct acolytes might have the right to band you from going a determined place I guess like the Badlands. [Blurr moves too but he was walking slowly (for his standards) to stay next to Starscream as they walked into the hall.]

[Smirks.] Then I hope to earn your approval in other ways, as well.

[it's more difficult than it seems to keep up with Blurr's words, but he manages through judicious listening to catch most of it, rubbing at a neck cable as he instinctively glances around behind him. Hanging out in Autobot High Command back home is one thing--walking around in a strange universe with an Autobot is another. Old habits recode hard.] The Badlands. I'm guessing that's a hazard even for fliers?

A curious thing to say WHY would you even care about my approval? [He sounds curious now. So far all the other Starscreams were less than nice to him and none of them really cared about Blurr's opinions.

Starscream if free to ask Blurr to repeat what he just said. Primus knows he's used to it by now.]

Basically. If what the Acolytes say is true any creature that tries to explore the Badlands drops dead. I don't think any flier here tried to access it yet but I don't recommend it unless you are feeling particularly suicidal.

[Blurr quickly found a room that had all the accomodationn¡s both mech needed. That implied, among other things like furniture, a large open window and two doors.]

Why not? The war is over. [it seems like he's been saying that a lot, lately. But spending time in Autobot High Command has reshuffled his peerage priorities somewhat.] My world's Blurr runs an oil house, back home. We're not on the friendliest terms. Maybe I like fresh starts.

[he nods his assent. Braggadocio only serves so far, and he's not about to take a chance without some tangible potential reward.] Plenty we can do here without asking for trouble.

[upon entering the room, he wandered over to take a seat, leaning forward so his wings didn't touch the back of the chair, and folding his legs. The picture of calm composure. Definitely different from the behavior of other Starscreams. He rests his servos on his calf and cocks his head at Blurr, wondering.]

So. [he's not sure what to ask, or if he should ask anything at all. His usual verbal aggression is a poor fit for this situation, being out of the loop and out of the know, and dependent on others for guidance.]

I know. We won. [At least the Autobots won in Blurr's world. He discovered upon arriving here that this wasn't the case with most of the other universes.] An oil house? Funny I was talking to Barricade and Wing about the need of a neutral place here similar to what you just mentioned FRESH STARTS are not a bad idea. Any particular reason why the me in your world doesn't like you?

[Not like he's suspicious of you or anything Starscream. Blurr only wants to know your life story, really. He finds a seat in front of Starscream although his posture is less relaxed because Blurr is not used to stand still for long periods of time. ]

So...why was you looking for Bumblebee?

Yeah, yeah, don't rub it in. [But he sounds more... casual about it than anything else. He'd stopped believing the war was doing any good a while ago, it was something of a relief.] Barricade? What's his story? [and the question about why the Blurr doesn't like him oh boy.] Long story short, I tried to recruit him early on. He wasn't a fan even then, and it only got worse in wartime. [he's being vague, here.] He lets me in his establishment, so we're not enemies, or anything like that.

Bumblebee's in charge of the postwar Autobot faction. Optimus being around was making the Nails restless, so he did the smart thing and checked off Cybertron before it got ugly.

I wasn't I was just telling that in my world that's what happened it seems to be an unusual outcome if you ask most of the other mechs here WHEELJACK says they're still at war in his world it's pretty sad I guess the Omega Supreme Project never worked for them. Barricade said that awaking up in a different universe wasn't new for him it looks like time-space traveling happened to him more than once.

[Blurr had to ask, he's curious about...well, himself.] Early on the War you mean? [He notices you being extra vague, but he won't pry more for sure.]

[If Starscream was concerned by that rapidfire change in mood, he didn't show it--in fact, he laughed at the comment about Bumblebee being in charge of anything.] At least our Bees sound similar. [sorry he is the least mature and kind of laughing again because pitdamn if he doesn't really like this Blurr right now]

Oh, I want to introduce you to him now. I really do.

[Because he's pretty sure his world's Bumblebee would stammer his way through trying to sound charismatic and put together and totally fail at it. He then sobers up a little.] Yeah. I'm getting the impression your world and mine are among the minority, too. But if time displacement is also a factor, they could be close to resolution. --What's the Omega Supreme Project?

[He can tell how badly Blurr wants to hear about his world's Blurr, so he opens his hands.] My world's Blurr started out a racer. I wanted y--him. For the Decepticons because he was good at what he did, but after a friend of his got caught and killed in the crossfire, he opted for Optimus's side. We got into a couple choice encounters, but it's a big universe and most of the time he was off somewhere else running missions that had nothing to do with me and mine.

He's not a bad mech, not even to me. But I like you better.

[YOU WOULDN'T LAUGH IF YOU KNEW THE BEE FROM HIS WORLD...no, scratch that, Starscream would probably laugh even harder.

He's giving you ~~a pout~~ a very dignified, yet frowny, look.] I'm not sure I want to meet him....

[That would be something to see.] It doesn't matter much now, Omega Supreme is an Autobot A really big one.

Being a racer sounds like found I would have liked being one too probably I think so yes but fight for what you believe in is more important. You do? [Oh, he looks surprised.]

That's all right. I'm hoping he won't show up here, all he ever does is criticize my love of democracy. [okay that is the most biased account of all time. But the glitter in his eyes is better than a wink, combined with the teasing smile. He's not fooling anyone and he knows it.]

A big Autobot. You know, that's funny you should mention... Nah. Probably a coincidence.

[he plays it cool, leaning back and dimming down his optics to a low burn as he evaluates the Autobot.] It's a little early to call us spark-buddies, but yeah. [knowing smirk]--Now does that shock you because I'm me, or because you're you?

Of course your looove for democracy. [Blurr will snicker back because, honestly, even he can see me humor in such an obvious lie.] there's no Bumblebee here from any universe.

Hm? Do tell YOU made me curious now. [Omega is more than just a 'big' Autobots but he's gone and it doesn't matter much now. If Blurr had eyebrows he would be raising one at the spark-buddies comment.] A bit of both. I always thought De-cep-ti-cons liked to follow their own personal rules.

I've been wondering about that, but I'm not holding my vents. He'll show up soon.

[tapping a hand against his knee, thoughtful about how to explain this. He only remembers a few choice details from the whole situation--including the chip implant after. But he knows from reports what happened when he wasn't around.] A huge Decepticon, technically, was what ended our war. Or, actually, several hundred thousand Decepticons combined to make one huge Decepticon. It left our entire side easy, disoriented targets. And without Megatron, nobody was going to be rallying us in a hurry.

[at that last part, he vents an awkward cough.] I do. I mean, uh. I do what I want, and I like who I like. There are plenty of Decepticons I wouldn't give the time of cycle to.

Which one will show up might be the question IT seems like there are infinite universes and the Lamdba enjoys messing with ALL of them at once.

[Blurr is a patient bot even if he can't barely stand still.]Omega doesn't combine but his alt mode is a ship..wait was Megatron gone? He abandoned his tropes THAT'S unusual even for him.

[that got a small smile from the blue mech.] Between you and me there are plenty of Autobots that I wouldn't really trust War made some of us unstable and others greedy for a position of power. Noonewasleftuntouched.

So we're banking on the Lambda hitting the one universe out of hundreds of thousands where he does more than your average paperweight.

[after a second, he looks around the room. The thought of Megatron skipping town actually makes him uneasy for more reasons than one. Even though he is aware on some deep level of programming that it's a toxic relationship, that Megatron brings out the worst of him (and the worst of him is considerable) he still ...feels... like it would be better to have the mech around. Which is sick and so unhealthy and he's just getting up again restlessly now to inspect the kind of quarters this particular FirstForged handed out, and take his mind off it.] Nobody knows what happened to him. He could be dead, but I wouldn't bet on it.

[he glanced over his shoulder, wings lowering to allow for optic-contact, catching the smile and looking briefly surprised before he returns it. While Decepticons are quick to turn on each other for anything, Autobots seem to cover things up and cover for each other even when they probably shouldn't. This open and honest assessment is something he's very, very unused to.]

[If it's of any consolation, Starscream there IS a Megatron here. It just happens to be the one from the Shattered Universe. It broke Blurr's brain a bit.]

As far as I know me is included in everyone. [This got too personal too quickly and he's not all that comfortable.]

[that broke Starscream's brain as well, no worries. He looks away from Blurr again, not wanting to push too far on that avenue until there's a firmer ground to do it on.]

Right. Sure it does. No trench talk, unless you want. [He folds his servos behind himself, looking out the window.] I'll be completely honest, Blurr. I could really use you at my back, on this world. People like you, and people trust you--and me? I have a legacy of terrible mistakes in my own world, and--it looks like most of my alternates are ... [how does he even describe other Starscreams? He falters.] ...I know I have problems. They don't. I need your help, to get people to see me differently.
