Hole in one [Video from Leige's Temple]
[There are no bars in the shot this time. Pharma hasn't been in a cell for a while now- merely under house arrest at his patron's temple. The camera shows the good doctor standing over something that looks like this:

He very carefully lines up his shot and gives the ball a gentle tap. It rolls along the green, bouncing off one side at the calculated angle and tips into the cup. Pharma smirks, leaning the club over one shoulder.]
Not a very challenging course. But satisfying, all the same.
I have to say, the speed and efficiency of the law system around here has definitely given me time to improve my game.

[Because he doesn't remember it being there before.]

[He heads over to pluck the ball out of the little hole.]

However, I am aware that it can be...difficult while you are under house arrest.
I am surprised you are cooperating.
[Action]
[That is a loaded statement there, Liege. Pharma clears his throat and thinks about his response.]
What would you have me do? Spend my life here in hiding? It's a better choice to just obey the law at this juncture. And I surmise they will have a difficult time coming up with sufficient evidence to pin me to this crime at the trial.
...If it ever happens.
[Action]
[And he does leave out whether that is working on a project...or being a project.]
I do not approve of them holding you here indefinitely on conjecture. You know that you killed someone--I know that you killed someone--but so long as you are in here then you are not out there, and you're useless to me this way.
Re: [Action]
You sound like you have something specific in mind you'd like me to be doing.
[Action]
Theoretically.
There are still Glyphless cadavers to examine, as well.
Or, failing that, I could take some of the isolated energy I sampled from them and see what it does to a live sample.
[You would make a good live sample.]
Re: [Action]
Isolated energy? I would be interested in the results of that as well.
[Action]
It is what we all want, in a way.
The more you do...the more powerful you can become, here, for what you have done.
[And the more power Liege would have, as well.]
I thought you might be. With the right frequency, we could possibly cause Glyphlessness in something...
And if we are able to induce it, we may be able to fight it. It is a step.
Who shall I try it on, then?
[He smirks a little as he asks.]
Re: [Action]
[Because Pharma is a realist and that stuff seems silly to him. He'd rather have political power or monetary worth.]
I see. You think the glyphless problem will occur again?
[He spends a moment thinking about it.] It should be someone relatively weak, someone easily containable. ...I believe I can come up with a list of suitable candidates if you give me a few days.
[Action]
[Partially because it was complex, yes, but partially because Liege did not know. Primus's technology was vast, both alien and familiar, miraculous and scientific.]
I am certain it will.
If you provide me with a list, I can take care of the rest. Unless you'd be interested in assisting me with the research?
Re: [Action]
Based on what evidence?
Might as well use my skills while you have them. [Pharma's not used to assisting- its been so long since he was that low on the totem pole- but he's very interested in the project. Just smart enough not to sound like it.]
[Action]
You are not the first Refugees to fall onto Cybertron.
[He crouches, inspecting the golf setup.]
I will use you, yes. But it is my preference that you receive something from it as well. You have too keen a mind to waste.
Re: [Action]
[Not that he was a part of any of that nonsense.]
Don't worry, I expect recompense. And you flatter me- but, it's true.
[Taps the club on his shoulder.] Have you ever played before?
[Action]
This last time marked the first occurrence in which the glyphless followed a pattern I had documented before. I would hardly be so remiss as to let such data slip by otherwise.
[And he doesn't like the implication that he did.]
You'll have something worthwhile, besides your mind.
[He expects that he will profit greatly from you, and...well. He is sure something will rub off in the meantime for you to gain.]
If I am to play, we will need somewhere bigger.
