I could understand Bumblebee on Earth, but...that's different. I could read digital code when I was three, and I thought it may just be related to the base code of that, but...

Hmm. Given that cybertronian, spoken or written, has nothing to do with human languages since we produce sound differently, one ought not lead to the other...

How come the situation with Bumblebee is different? And, ah... if you're curious, we could always attempt a few avenues of investigation.

Bumblebee...his vocalizer was broken. He couldn't speak Cybertronian or English, just...code, I guess. The others could understand him, but I was the only human who could.

That is, indeed, different. I'd assume the code would still have been derived from Cybertronian, so it's still curious that you could understand him... Any other similar incidents of inexplicably understanding cybertronian or being able to do more with it than you should?

Curious... It might be worth it to attempt some exchanges in person. Perhaps get some cybertronian you know to talk to you in our language while both of you have put away or turned off... or is out of range of the Link?

[Jetfire shrugs, casting a look around the landscape around him.] It wouldn't be possible to do anything but a cursory survey of the whole moon in one sweep, after all, and this was merely to test if my adjustments to the mod to let me go beyond the influence that the Lambda has around Cybertron would work without issue.
