Alright, I think I understand what was explained to me, while it sounds different from what happened to Cliffjumper in some ways, it also sounds similar.

Greetings friends, I am searching for those who might know me, Decepticons most likely. If there is anyone here who recognizes my voice, please contact me here.

Beyond that I am curious if there is other information that is prudent to know. Beyond that which I was briefed on when I awoke. Is my lack of memory for arriving here standard for everyone, or could there be a potential for damage?

He vents exhaust with a clearing sound and tries to recover smoothly, which doesn't go totally well but isn't, also, a complete disaster.]

I'm ...pretty sure some minor calibration jostling is standard. [dazed. Even Dudewave didn't properly prepare him for this. Okay first order of business is to determine if there's a him in this universe.] Is there anyone in particular you're seeking? Cliffjumper? I recognize that designation, too, but I don't think he's here.

[Megatron is far to polite to point out the the lack of smooth recovery.]

Well Cliffjumper is a traveler to my universe, as I am here, though he has be quiet interesting to get to know. Others that I would be highly interested in the presence of would be my Second in Command, Starscream, our Communications officer Soundwave, or Shockwave.

There is a Soundwave here. [he's not sure he dares touch on Starscream, but he's going to have to address it sooner or later.] And four Starscreams, including myself.

There is?! This is a good thing to hear.

Four Starscreams? [His voice becomes both surprised and curious.] Do any of them happen to be white with a red coloration? Cliffjumper mentioned that particular coloration was something he did not associate with the Starscream of his universe.

He's very. ...relaxed. [he vents.] I don't...Two of them don't. The third might, I'm not sure. I haven't met any of them in person, only over this network.

And I'm not the one you're looking for.

I am unsure if this is a remarkable trait for the Soundwave of my universe but he in particular is quite relaxed.

I assumed, had you been the Starscream from my universe I doubt we would be covering such questions, as the recognition would have been much closer and more intimidate. Thank you for the information.

Lamentably we are, Optimus Prime and his Autobots are quite bent on taking over Cybertron and the accessible universe by force.

I see, I suppose that does seem fitting with everything I understand in the case that you are from a universe with reverse polarity from mine.

[He considers the statement a moment, hardly judging or thinking negatively about it. More he was trying to consider how things were said.]

I have nothing more pressing at the moment then to understand as much as I can of this place I've arrived in. If you have the time I wouldn't object to speaking right away.

Wait--[if that makes sense to him at all, it's going to take a minute to process it properly, and it just now occurs that he doesn't want to give anyone--Drift, or Sky-Byte, or anyone else here who is less inclined to think him sincere--any more ammunition for immediately and eagerly hanging out with a Megatron. "Reverse polarity" or not.

But this is too intriguing an opportunity to pass up. It's like finding that parent figure you wanted to love you who was always cold and distant suddenly warm and welcoming.]

That's right. [the impulse to make a bunch of queries revealing exactly how ignorant he is right now is almost overpowering, but he keeps a lid on it miraculously.]

Actually, I would greatly appreciate any information on the social climate here, if you are willing to share it. You see, when I left my Cybertron we were still at war, and while it does not appear to be the case here, I would like to know where things are so as not to create undue social tension between anyone.

[Not only in words but also in his tone of voice, he manages to make the whole thing a request for Starscream's assistance. There is no presumption that he will be 'obeyed'.]

[He found himself unable to meet those blazing blue optics, glancing away toward the ground as he listened. Undue social tension.]

Alright. Crash course lesson from what I've been able to glean. Anybody here who has a purple symbol like this--[he looked up suddenly, reached out to tap Megatron's symbol as if daring him to take a swing and behave like an ordinary Megatron might]--is probably not going to treat you like you're used to. In my world the war is over, and in Blurr's world, too, but that's definitely not the majority from a lot of these mechs. I haven't met any Autobots who shoot first and ask questions later, which I'm assuming is the case in your world.

[Megatron neither moved nor showed any expression other then rapt attention and interest in what Starscream was saying. He did wonder why he had almost made it a point to touch Megatron's brand. He decided to make it something he would watch for and evaluate, but at this time it seemed entirely harmless.]

Yes, the Autobots of my world are... highly aggressive.

As much as I'd like to take a shot at Optimus Prime, I'm pretty sure a new war here is the last thing I want to ignite. So I'll need your help. [and he recognizes the sublime irony in asking Megatron for assistance in keeping the peace.] I'm not actually very good at this.

[something about the other drew him out, made him vulnerable. Made him cave to weakness he'd ordinarily offline before he'd admit to.]

I am more than willing to give you any help you could ask for, especially if it is to avoid further conflict.

I could use your help as well, if you are willing. What I know of the other polarity is limited. I do not expect to be taught every nuance of difference, but if I knew I had someone I could depend on to help me understand the differences I would greatly appreciate it.

First lesson of polarity is that we don't talk about polarity. It's meaningless. You want to know why someone does something, you ask that individual. Poll the Link if you want. Ask Decepticons why they fought - I can't even only talk for the ones from my universe specifically, I can talk for me, and sometimes I can talk for Megatron. He wrote some books.

That does make sense, and I will do my best to take that most to ember. I can not promise that I will act on it flawlessly, but I will do my best to follow it more than not. It is no more than I would hope others to do for me, to learn who I am, rather than assume they know me from a few pieces of information.

[He nodded to Starscream, indicating that he was listening and still willing to learn from the other Decepticon.]
