[ She's just sitting there in the medbay with Scope, staring at her helmet in her hands. ]

[He doesn't share his own pain in his spark. He rarely does. He hasn't since the Glyphless, anyway. But he still feels the loss, the guilt that he couldn't do more. Perceptor was, after all, one of his.

[ Reluctantly, she walks over to him, looking at his hand. She just feels numb now. ]

[Very gently, he scoops her up. Slowly, Ultra Magnus lifts her to his chest as he sits down in a nearby chair.

Nothing needs to be said. Not at all. He begins a slow, quiet purr of his engine.

Because some old habits die hard.]
