[Here we have the police bird in his natural habitat. Standing by the lake in Alpha Trion's sector. He looks rather pensive and generally more upset than he usually does.]

I --

[And before he can explain himself, he catches sight of his reflection in the lake. Scrawled on the panes of his left wing are the words "SPACE FOR RENT". On the other wing, in equally bold, obnoxious writing is "APRIL FOOLS".]

[He stares. And then drops the Link in an effort to scrub the writing off with his bare hands, twisting around into a veritable knot of unhappy ninja robot.]

[Unfortunately, all this does is give the viewer a good view of the back side of each wing, on which is written ""POWER JOE WAS HERE :D". One word per wing pane.]

[And it's then, in a fit of avian frustration, Kagerou has the most mature response to life there ever was. He lifts the nearest heavy rock and throws it, as hard as he can, shouting:]

I hate this place!

[He has to pause, too, to regain composure. Some form of control over himself.]

Aye. He's likely doing this as a friend, so as a .. 'friend'.. should you not consider doing a prank back to him? [ Have a slightly scary and rare to see evil-looking grin from Saber, Kagerou. ] It sounds as this is not your first irritation with this gentleman.

... He dislikes me. I'm not sure how I feel in return.

[He wants to be liked. Or, at least, not suspected of harming little girls. But that doesn't seem to be happening, so.]

I wouldn't know how to... prank... back.

Hm, I wouldn't know how to help you on that one. I suppose you would want to think of something that you know would greatly irritate him as his trick has irritated you.. [ Saber shakes her head slightly. Yes, the competitive side that can be there to April Fool's got her going, but she's not exactly experienced in such tom-foolery. ]

[Other than "he turns into a power shovel and is part of the Brave Police".]

You really know so little of this gentleman? That surprises me.. [ The knight looks thoughtful. ] For such a prank.. I expect this Power Joe really thinks well of you.

I know he's part of the Brave Police. He's one of their Build Team members. His alternate form is a power shovel.

... And he ate all of the shrimp puffs.

[Okay, so that was when they were human, and it's not entirely true, but.]

Why would you think he does?

That's quite an elaborate prank. And for someone to put so much effort into it.. and it's not really that harmful.. aye, I believe he thinks well of you. [ A nod. ]

Hmm.. I apologize, Kagerou. [ A gentle sigh. ] This is something you simply have to, ah, what do they say.. "get". There's no easy way to explain it.

Well, [ Saber struggles a bit. She is not the best at socializing, and trying to explain something to someone who doesn't seem to receiving of the idea is.. difficult. But the knight remains patient. ] People tend to only put immense effort in time into those they care about.. than those they don't. That's what I said I believe he likes you. Does that make more sense..?
