[The feed seems a little shaky at first, but once it comes into focus, all one can see is the dark stretch of the skies above, dotted with the pinpoint lights of distant stars, and perhaps just at its edge, one might catch the fringes of the Lambda's glow.]

Ugh...

[The view shifts, completely tilting on its side to capture the unmistakable grounds of the bleak landscape outside of the Haven. For a moment it remains that way, and then suddenly there's a gasp, and the world blurs as someone jerks to sit upright. It's then that the perhaps familiar magenta and orange paint job can be seen, as well as the stunned face of the young Autobot who so proudly wears it.]

Wh-

[He's getting this weird feeling of déjà vu.]

...where am I? I thought...

Um, yeah, I think a medic couldn't hurt right about now. I just came to some time ago and some of my systems seem to be glitching. Although...for the most part I feel okay. Ironhide suggested I get looked at though, so...

Well of course I'll have a look at that. Ping me your location and I can come by right away. How long have the symptoms been going on? Which systems?

Er, that's kind of part of the problem. I have no idea where I am. My navigational systems are out, and I'm not even sure how long it's been since...

[He shakes his head.]

Ah. It's been like this since I came to. Out here. I think it's outside of the Haven.

And any more details for me to go on? Are you in the junkyard or the wastelands? That is a bit of an area to cover, after all.

[He tries to sound more dismissive than he actually manages; but even then, Glit apparently he isn't going to let that stop him from trying to locate him. Given the camera view, he's already started off at a fast trot.]

Aside from my memory being spotty? No, nothing else I've noticed.

Oh, sorry- I...don't think I'm anywhere near any junkyard, so I figure it's the wastelands. As to where, well if I knew that the I wouldn't have any problems with my nav-systems, now would I?

[He huffs, and climbs up the nearest structure to try and get a reading on Hot Rod's signal.]

Well no, but landmarks, signs, anything to help would be useful? Can you see Prima's light-tower, or the lambda from where you are?

I'm not exactly a communications specialist. Tracking a comm-signal is not my specialty.

Right, right. Um.... Well I do see some kinda beacon in the distance, but it's still pretty far off, as much as I can tell. And the Lambda- that's...the big tear in the sky, right? It's not directly above, but I can see it.

Um, hang on.

[He turns about to try giving Glit a better idea of the surroundings, not that he sees much by way of landmarks to think it would help.]

[The cassette makes an abrupt change in direction, racing down the hill and out toward the edge of the Haven. After a few moments-]

So. For the lack of a convenient flare...tell me your horn still works.

Horn? Oh, right. Yeah. I can do that. Feel kinda stupid sitting out here honking at nothing, but if it'll help...

Of course it will. Just keep at it.

[It may take several a few minutes, but any honking will certainly draw the cassette in right to Hot Rod's location.]

All right then. I'll just... sit tight or something.

[There's honking all right, and it shouldn't be too hard to spy the sports car with the bright paint job. At least it seems Hot Rod's still capable of transforming!]

[The honking may have been awkward, but it led Glit right to Hot Rod more easily than even that optic-searing paint job. He leaps right over the pile of junk Hot Rod is reclining against with a showy flourish, padding on over to the future Prime's feet.]

Well then, good to finally meet you face-to-face.

[Glit sits, looking the young 'Bot over for injuries, conveniently out of arm's reach. Pacifist he may be, but his Decepticon symbol can still lead to some awkward first introductions.]

[There's no point in staying in alt form when the medic's arrived, and Hot Rod's glad to see that at least some of his systems seem to be working yet, at least.]

Uh, likewise...?

[He looks at the other hesitantly, perhaps at first visibly tensed.]

Medical officer Glit. At your service.

[He tucks a paw to his chest and gives a little bow, but makes no move to approach.]

So anything else still acting up, other than your navigation system?

[young_upstart]

[Could be worse, he supposes. If he's remembering correctly, there's something of a truce between Autobots and Decepticons too...

Hot Rod finally seems to relax a little, gesturing loosely for Glit that he's free to approach.]

Chronological systems seem to be out too.

[Glit trots closer, smoothly slipping up to Hot Rod's side, looking him over for any obvious external injuries as he goes.]

Hmm. Well, let's see what we've got here. If you'll give me access, I'm going to run a standard diagnostic.

[He offers a small medical jack on his foreleg, allowing Hot Rod to make the first move.]

[It doesn't look like he's had any physical damage, something that even Hot Rod's a bit baffled on, but he's not going to complain.]

Oh, right.

[Reaching over, he goes ahead and plugs in.]
