We're getting more biologicals. Do we have any numbers on resource usage?

[Like, y'know, clean water and food? Someone's already lived through starvation and does not fancy having another go.]

Through research, I've discovered a number of locations that provide the necessary food and water. The junkpile is known to occasionally drop in food safe for consumption. But Saber's been workin' on the pantry, gathering whatever is available in one easy and accessible location.

[sigh] Though this is always a constant concern on my mind since arrivin' here. What happens if these resources run out? I'm sure the robots will be fine, but I don't know if there'd be some way of replenishing our resources. Dunno if alien gods could think of a way, either. Though it'd be nice if they could give us all a bunch of magic wands to wave over garbage and turn into food. Wouldn't that be something. [smirk]

Heard about the pantry. Still, that only delays the inevitable.

My master used to use leftover food scraps for compost. Make some useable soil. I heard a few people were working on farming.

[he makes an impressed face] Not a bad idea. I think if we try, we can make it work. Could always use expanding the farmlands here. I've got a little experience myself, so I could provide some elbow grease.

I'm not skilled at farming, but I think I could at least do some of the unskilled work in exchange for a share of what grows. Others might be interested in an arrangement like that if not learning more specialized skills, too.

I think we can manage that. My concern is keeping the kids here fit and healthy. It'd be Heaven to find some damn seeds among all this useless junk.

Has no fresh fruit or vegetables ever dropped from the Lambda?

Not to my knowledge, though this fellow named Jetfire had fruit growing for a short while. Not any longer, unfortunately.

So no natural seed sources. What happened to the crop?

[adamndoctor]

Not sure. Jetfire's the one you'd want to ask.

But either way, if I find any seeds, I'll place them in the pantry and let you know. Though we should organize a group, and assign tasks once we've figured this all out.
