The Firstforged claim they're some kind of gods. What an exaggeration that is.
[Thank you, Kagerou. And don't you sound bitter today. Granted, he's been bitter about all this since Perceptor vanished... but recently, everything has sort of come to a head. He can't keep it down anymore.]
They want us to build. They want us to run their world, and behave like peaceable little children.
And what do we get in return?
Murdered. Lied to. Misdirected. Our work ruined. Criminals running amok. Empty promises.
[As he says the last words, his fingers clench around his arm, around the Glyph.]
They want us to trust them -- but these Firstforged are nothing like they say they are. They tell us they can't control who leaves and who stays, but, then they turn around and tell us we're safe with their markings! They don't care one bit, what happens to us! If they did...
[If they did, I would be able to do what I was promised I could...]
[His hand lifts, revealing the very elaborate, intricate Glyph -- his status is showing, and boy does he look unhappy about it.]
If their reward for our service is loss and death, I would rather not have their mark at all!

[Action]
He wants to offer comfort--consult--but he doesn't want to force the other into talking either. So, for now, he'll just take it all slow.]
[Action]
[The awkward silence stretches.]
[Finally, shifts a bit, looking down at his marked arm.]
... it was supposed to make things better.
[Action]
When Kagerou finally does, the therapist glances over at his companion, gaze lingering before he too looks at the mark on Kagerou's arm.]
...Why do you think it hasn't?
[Action]
[It comes out slowly, the words hesitant, almost mumbled.]
[The next part comes out bitter, and sharp.]
And now... I might not get to go home at all. Because of it.
[Action]
[He speaks softly and slowly, though when the other speaks bitterly he flinches a bit.]
What do you mean, Kagerou?
[Action]
[He hunches his shoulders more, tightening his arms around his knees.]
... the new marking. It... might not let me go home again.
[Action]
[Hesitating a moment, the therapist turns, a worried look in his eyes as he rests a hand on the other's shoulder.]
It won't...what...?
[Action]
[He shakes his head. None of that seemed to be happening.]
But one of the others... he told me I was foolish to think it would let me leave. Now that it's been done...
Re: [Action]
[Because that would be the first place Rung would start. Some of the individuals here..they could fabricate quite a story when they wanted to.]
Perhaps it's not what you think--what you were told by this person. You won't know until you ask them. Approach them with your concerns.
[Action]
[And thus the reason he can't bring himself to be too trusting of them anymore. He shrugs a little.]
If they lied to me once... why would they be truthful?
Re: [Action]
[Action]
[Why yes, that is what he remembers, instead of Liege's actual name.]
But how can I trust any of them?
Re: [Action]
[Because he has no clue whatsoever.]
You don't have to put all your faith--all your trust into them, Kagerou. Look to them for guidance and help but you have to trust in yourself, first and foremost.
[Action]
[Then again, the only one Kay likes is Trion, so...]
They don't deserve any trust. At all. I don't want them to guide me in anything!
... you're more help than they ever have been.
[Action]
[Which means no more threatening them, Kagerou, please.
The therapist's expression softens as he smiles and he reaches over to rest a hand on Kagerou's arm and squeeze gently.]
And I will be here to help you as much as I can.
[Action]
[Since he went and upgraded his Glyph and all.]
[He looks over at the hand on his arm, staring at it in silence for a few seconds.]
[Then reaches over, and puts his arms around the Autobot without another word on the subject.]
... please don't disappear as well.
[Action]
[Rung is momentarily surprised by the action but it doesn't take him long to wrap his arms around the other in return, hugging him close.]
I'm not going anywhere, Kagerou..I promise.
[Action]
[Unless he misunderstood. He hopes he misunderstood.]
[He nods a little, trying not to cling on, and failing. But it's the word -- "promise" -- that makes the tension in his body ease slightly.]
... thank you.
Re: [Action]
[Feeling that tension ease some, Rung's arms tighten around the other and his optics dim in a gentle manner.]
You're welcome, Kagerou.
[Action]
[He might be more relaxed, but he doesn't pull away. He just leans against the offered contact a little more.]
Re: [Action]
[Action]
Because of that. Yes.
Re: [Action]

Re: [Action]
[Rung gives the other a reassuring look, lifting a hand to touch his cheek gently.]
If you aren't sure of something, you can always ask me too and we can discuss things.
