The Firstforged claim they're some kind of gods. What an exaggeration that is.

They want us to trust them -- but these Firstforged are nothing like they say they are. They tell us they can't control who leaves and who stays, but, then they turn around and tell us we're safe with their markings! They don't care one bit, what happens to us! If they did...

[There's quite a few things that are interesting about this broadcast. One, he didn't think Kagerou could speak for that long. He was eerily quiet most of the time, and spoke in approximately one syllable terms. So this is a bit jarring.

It probably doesn't matter to you, but I've been in dimensional hubs like this before. People vanished in those too, people I was close to. More than I could count. More than I'd want to count. I might try to blame someone for it but in the end it's no one fault. It just... happens, and it hurts, but there's no way to stop it, or fix it.
Maybe the FirstForged realize this and don't want us to fall into dispair over it or go looking for answers that don't exist, or maybe they don't realize it.

Gods are meant to mediate, not control. If they were to remove crime entirely, they would be removing the freewill of those they watch over. Ill will is a part of life - it would be naive to think that it could be eliminated entirely, even by a god.

And, from what I understand, their glyphs are meant to protect us from Unicron's madness, not from each other.
