[Video | At the Office]

[Rung had just been working on cleaning up his office and getting things back in order when he'd accidentally created something. A ball of light to be exact.

He'd been having trouble seeing and then suddenly there was light and the little ball that was no bigger than his fist was floating around his head. The therapist had thought that maybe he'd finally snapped or something but he came to realize pretty quickly that the thing was, in fact real.

And under his command.]

Could anyone possible explain to me why I can suddenly make light..balls?

[As he asks it, there's one hovering around his hand as Rung peers at it, cupping it in his palm slightly even as it just kind of floats there.]

[Barricade chuckles quietly.]

The adorable look on your face says different.

[He so missed having someone that reacts to what he does.]

[Okay, mister, you need to stop right now.]

Adorable?--I'm merely confused, that's all! There's nothing--why would you--...The pet names aren't helping anything..

[But it's just too much fun!]

I would 'cause it's what I do. And don't worry, the pet name is temporary.
I'll come up with a better one sooner or later.

[Rung doesn't even know what to say to that, vents cycling some as he tries to get himself under control and stop being so flustered.]

There's no stopping you is there?

No, there really isn't.

[He tips his head slightly, squinting and grinning a little.]

Well, now that you mention it, there might be. Mm, but there's only one mech that ever did it, and we didn't always get on well.

[His last memories of him were them not getting on at all, in fact.]

...Dare I ask what this particular thing might be?

[He's going to refrain from asking the 'who' because, well, that's just not his place.

Right now at least.]

He'd hang up on me every time I'd do it, and treated me like a hatchling over it, t'boot. It was downright frustrating. Mm, but a little hilarious too.

[He was hardly going to be broken of the habit, though. Even by that.]

It sounds like you two had quite the relationship.

It was something, I c'n say that much.

I can imagine.

[He smiles a bit.]

You seem like the type that has quite the story to tell overall.

[He chuckles.]

You're not wrong, darlin'. Huge, obnoxious amounts of story. Doubt anyone would know what t'do with it if they got the whole thing, either.

But. You'll get at least part of it.

I'll make sure to prepare myself for such a story then.

[His smile turns a bit playful.[

[He grins widely, pointing to Rung and rotating his claw in a circle playfully.]

Might need a bigger notepad than usual.

[It takes everything he has not to get flustered.]

Well, considering I record everything rather than writing it down, I think I'll be alright.

[Barricade has to applaud the effort, really. It's rather impressive.]

Ah, that makes it much easier. And then I don't have to wonder if you're just doing cartoony doodles on the paper while I'm talking.

[Rung can't help but chuckle.]

I can promise you that I do no such thing as that.

I....well....Yes. That isn't necessary.

Glad t'here it. I hate to have to pull that out.

[Because he hasn't actually used it since his facelift by the TransTechs and he has no idea how to make it work anymore.]
