[ Surprise, it's a video feed featuring Hal 'Bohmerbot' Nine-Thousand, his null manner, his creepy voice, and his excellent taste in suits. He appears to be leaning against whatever is supporting the comically cybertronian-sized cot in his quarters while he broadcasts. ]

I wouldn't like to inconvenience anyone with my confusion, so allow me to quickly summarize what I believe has occurred. Somehow we have all ended up on this alien planet. It likely has something to do with the large rip in the fabric of space-time over that ever-growing pile of debris under it. There is no way home and we are now subject to the political machinations of whoever is already settled on this planet.

[ He seems to be scrolling around in the Link as he talks. There's no harm in getting as much information as possible, though he doesn't bother with filtered things. No use finding information if you cannot share it, after all. ]

I imagine that there are a few things I can expect, having gone through something similar. Most of the population has some sort of unsettled feelings about a certain issue. There will be one or two large fights as well as an attempted coup, before everyone eventually realizes that such skirmishes are pointless here and settles down. There are also duplicates of individuals from various universes.

Is that right so far? [ Of course it's right, he's Hal Nine-Thousand and this is unfortunately old hat for him. Also unfortunate is that no one likes a know-it-all. Literally no one.
Then he gets to the most recent post and... um. WELL

Excuse him while he hangs up as fast as he possibly can without seeming startled. ]

I had a feeling I was missing something. Unexpected events of varying sorts occurred rather often on Sacrosanct, though it was not always caused by the environment.

I've been in a similar situation, so perhaps it is simply that the scope of the matter is move obvious to me than it is to other individuals who are experiencing a displacement like this for the first time.

I have. I was, for lack of a better word, trapped on a space stationed designated Sacrosanct, which orbited a planet called Asphodel. I was there for 1 year, 3 months and 24 days.

[More stations and planets she's never heard of. Ugh.]

Not that I intended to brag, but yes. It actually grows a bit tiresome after a while, as I'm sure you'll eventually find, though I must admit that this place is a quaint change of pace from a life of luxury.

Be on the look out for strange artifacts that cause lapses in sanity. It's only a matter of time before one comes crashing through the rip.

Oh no, trust me. I've not been in a situation quite so exactly similar, but I'm rather used to waking up in strange places and finding myself a pawn. Tiresome is the word for it.

As to that, though, I'd rather be back in luxury. Getting a bit tired of living off random canned food... and there's no one here who plays a decent game of cards or chess.

I fear that, with what the situation here seems to be, pawn is a rather good word for it.

Mm, yes I suppose that's true. It wasn't unnecessary to eat large amounts before I replaced my arm, but as it runs on sugars, it might be troublesome to keep it.

As for games, I know plenty. Though my skill at card games is rather out of practice, I am extraordinarily good at chess.

Hal switches to video and removes his suit jacket so he can carefully roll up the sleeve of his right arm. That is a very shiny robot arm, yes it is. He taps his temple and also points to his creepy glowing red eyes before shutting the feed off.]

The body is mostly organic, but there were also enhancements installed into it in order to make interacting with technology easier. I chose to replace the arm, however.
