[Accidental Video]
[It'd been a month since Magnus left.
The commander had been gone that long before, and Wheeljack almost expected the same this time around. So...when that time rolled around, and still no Magnus after constantly searching the feed...
It was time to call it quits.
The feed opens up to show a room-...or what's left of one. The walls are cracked, scorched, bent, or indented in some places, although that seems to be the most of the damage. The berth is relatively untouched, and any of Miko's and Bulkhead's belongings are actually safe from damage. Wheeljack's own stuff? a different story. Only one thing of Wheeljack's was left untouched--the sword Blurr gave him--which was put under the bed weeks prior.
Sounds like someone had a tantrum, and it shows, with Wheeljack standing in the center of the room, panting heavily from all the lashing out...at the wall.
...Do you feel better now, princess?]
Ngh...
[He slumps against the wall, sinking to the ground and curling up.
...Just like old times.]

[Action of course]
He comes to stand in the doorway to their room. He ignores the damage for the time being, his focus on Wheeljack. They can deal with the damage later, Wheeljack's well-being is far more his concern at the moment.]
Jackie...
[He steps into the room, a little wary. Not sure how he'll react.
Just like old times.]
[Action]
He'd never had a good temper.]
...Magnus is gone. For good.
[He takes a little piece of debris near him, tossing it like you would skipping rocks.]
Guess I didn't take it so well.
[Action]
It makes him stop though.]
Ya sure?
[No, of course he's sure. There's a hint of frustration. He never really talked with the Ultra Magnus here, except a couple times, but he'd had some respect for him. He reminded him too much of the one back home.]
Scrap, and he'd been fine too. Besides that passin' out he did.
[He wonders if that had something to do with it too. Was it some kind of warning of what was to happen to him?
He's stepping closer again. Just...just wanting to be close without touching.]
No, I don't blame ya. Damage can be fixed. I'm...more worried about you.
[Action]
[Magnus was an interesting case. He chafed under the pressure of order, but this one...he'd seen the potential in Wheeljack. Maybe a slight more than the one back home. Let him do what he wanted, and most of all...
Did the job he needed to do, instead of sending in sentries.]
Found him only to lose him again.
[Another piece of debris is flicked, but he doesn't seem to mind Bulkhead coming closer.]
You know me, Bulk. I'm...we're used to this.
[So why does it hurt?]
[Action]
There's a vented sigh from him,]
Bots like him shouldn't be disappearin'. Too many of them have been lately. [Why was it those that should be here, were needed here the most, kept disappearing. Why not them, why not those that have murdered other refugees.]
Used to it, yeah.
[He glances away a moment. Because as much as they want to keep people at a distance, it's hard. It's almost like the Wrecker squad all over again. Only instead of dying, they keep disappearing.]
[Action]
[He quiets down, as if he used up his speech quota for the moment.]
...
Yeah. Enough to make me question this place.
[Action]
[It's funny how he never really met this one. Just like he didn't meet the one back home.
He looks back to Wheeljack.]
In what ways?
[Action]
[And to Wheeljack, that meant everything.]
Nothin' works right here. Death isn't even the same.
[Action]
[Just because he wasn't in the squad, doesn't mean he didn't keep tabs on their status when he could. Until the exodus anyway.]
I kinda don't mind the death's not bein' the same. [He gives Wheeljack a pointed look for a moment, before he just looks thoughtful.] But, stuff made more sense on Earth, than they do here.
[Action]
Yeah. Everything seemed more predictable back there.
[Action]
More predictable, easier ta handle. Alot less stuff left in the dark.
Makes me glad I'm not alone here from our world. Makes it a little more bearable.
[Action]
And right now, he maybe just...needed someone.]
Yeah, it definitely helps...
[Action]
Hey, come on. [He tries to put a hand on his shoulder, giving a little grin. He's trying to cheer him up some.] We've made it this long. Just gotta keep going.
[Action]
Yeah...Should be used to it by now, yeah?
[Action]
Yeah...don't make it any easier, though.
[He takes the chance to lean over and get his hands to where he can lift him into his lap.]
But I ain't lettin' you disappear. Not without a fight. I'll march into them badlands and drag you out myself if I have to.
[He sounds serious about it too.]
That goes for Miko, and Smokescreen and even Arcee.
[Action]
[He looks at his shoulder, where the glyph of his resides. There's a small sliver of anger in it, but on the other hand, it's grateful.]
Solus didn't give me my boyscout badge for kicks, I imagine. Doubt she'll want to be rid of me anytime soon.
Just means I gotta watch out for my...team.
[There's hesitance on that last part.]
[Action]
[He glances at his own shoulder and his glyph, a twin of Wheeljack's, save for it not changing much other than the new outline.
The hesitance makes his gaze turn back to Wheeljack.]
I ain't goin' anywhere. Unicron'll have ta come down himself, and drag me away. [If he can find a way to stay put, he will. His stubborn side kicking in.
But a slight playful grin pushes through, and he pokes his shoulder.]
Heh 'sides, somebody's gotta keep you out of trouble.
[Action]
Haha...yeah, not to many are gonna do that job now.
You're best at it anyway.
Re: [Action]
Can't blame them. The pay's awful, but the benefits are great.
I'm not great it but I try. Still, I ain't gonna give it up soon.
[Action]
[He looks at his hands as he sits there with Bulk, seeing his self repair systems starting to go to work on them. If his boon from Solus was accurate, they'd be back to normal in a half hour.]
Thanks, Bulk...I don't know--
[--how to thank you.]
[Action]
[He leans down to nuzzle against his helm for a moment, before he gets distracted by watching the hands get repaired. Wow, that is fast. Wheeljack's words draw his attention back up, though.]
Don't need ta thank me. [He smiles softly, if a little playfully.] I knew what I was gettin' into when I kissed ya.
[He wraps his arms around him, hugging him for a moment.
[Action]
Even if he knew it wasn't. Sometimes false hope was better than none.]
Heh...Which is why I gotta.
[Action]
Still, some hope was better than none at all here. It's what keeps them going.]
Jackie...
[You shouldn't have to thank him.]
[Action]
That's what you did when you...you know.]
Just take it, Bulk.
[There's a quiet chuckle as he curls into him.]
Makes things easier.
