Zombies. Why's it always fraggin' zombies?

[Cliffjumper hasn't even seen any of them, and he's not sure of the vehemence in his own conviction, but it feels right. Beyond, well, the fact that undead abominations that shouldn't be possible had decided to come play.

Ghosts were one thing.]

Whatever, as long as we can get rid of 'em all. [With a grimace and a shrug Cliffjumper makes a few locked pings.]

Hey, Blurr. Still wanna try a gun? [They're doing it either way, you know.]

Both of ya okay, still? [He pauses, frowning a little, briefly hesitating before just shrugging. That worry of being okay was mostly for Ravage since Soundwave had disappeared.]

... Dunno, should we meet up, or somethin'?

Ya know... I can't pick out when [Except there's precious few times he could have met zombies and not remember it and there's only one where there's the insistence of something being wrong - but at the same time his processor insists nothing in particular happended when they went after Grimlock.] or if I have, but I suppose that doesn't really matter.

Why not? [Cliffjumper shrugs, the annoyance from earlier mostly pushed away.] If we don't do it now, somethin' else is just gonna come up, right?

You do that often, you know? I _{noticed. You often mentions how some situation}seems familiar but you can't say why exactly. [Cliff did that when they where trapped in that deathly building filled with traps. Blurr can't forget about anything that happened there.]

Yeah, I know--- [There's a frustrated groan before Cliffjumper just moves the lock to the whole thing, for ease's sake. And he's not sure how much he wants to talk about that where anybody can see, anyway.]

What torques me right of is that it means that some of my memories ain't right, and I think it could be when Sideswipe and I were huntin' for Grimlock, but at the same time our stories match up and nothing slagging happened!

[He throws his arms up and then crosses them over his chestplates, scowling.]

On the other hand, somethin' just feels... off, 'bout it, though I can't put my finger on it. And yeah scraplets. [He can't quite suppress the armour-rattling shiver.] Normal ones're bad, but the inverse ones... they eat dead metal and either make more of themselves, or replace it with livin' metal.

[Cliffjumper's expression goes a bit arch, even if there's an underlying sourness of his frustration still lingering. Because he can't pick out from when he knows that either, but that really bothers him less; anyone of the negative polarity 'Cons could've told him.]

And I don't think it matters, unless we've got a shootin' range somewhere? Did the police force headquarters have one? Probably just shouldn't choose the wall of a temple or anythin'. [Cliffjumper grinned and shrugged.]

And as long as ya don't shoot wildly around yourself, I think we should be able to manage...

[The lock is fine but it shows Blurr that this is serious business.] Do you think that something or someone tampered with your memories? Like it happens in this world when someone dies and it's resurrected? Rung couldn't remember much of his death.

[Blurr is appalled at that last bit of information.] They can create living metal? How...?

One of the Perceptor established a shooting range after he shot Whirl in the aft, I think. NO I'm quite sure that shooting at the temples is a really BAD, bad, idea.

I'M NOT THAT BAD WITH WEAPONS! [He is, to an extent. But not THAT level of bad.]

Looks like that... [And that makes Cliffjumper really pretty angry, though he manages to keep the rev of his engine reasonably restrained.] Dunno if it's exactly the same as that, though.

I mean, comin' back from death ain't really usual, ya know? Could be traunmatic enough ya lose stuff.

[Scowling, Cliffjumper shrugged and went to the rest, if nothing else to briefly distract himself.]

Well, if you're injured, they eat the scrapped and bad metal and fixes it. [That makes him grimace, because even if he vaguely knows that's good, the idea of willingly letting scraplets that close, bengin or not...]

Just checkin'. [briefly, he smirks, and then shrugs.] Let's check that range out, then, if ya know where it is. A range is better either way.

[And shooting at the temples were probably a surperiorly bad idea.]

Why would anybody do that? [It makes Blurr frown too. Tampering with people's memories is just not right and it's dangerous for their cause.]

[Blurr makes another disgusted face at the explanation.]But... they are scraplets.....

Anyway, I will send you the coordinates and see you at the shooting range.

Suppose that depends on what really happened in the bunker, besides Sideswipe and me meeting up with Rodimus and... er. Your alternate.

[Cliffjumper shrugged, trying to once again go over what he remembered, but while it all fit together perfectly neatly, and he knew it fit with Sideswipe's, there also was that faint insistence that something didn't add up... but it didn't help him knowing that, because what he remembered didn't change.]

Yeah, I know. Creeps me out as well. [Rubbing the side of his helm, Cliffjumper grinned at the call and then nodded.]

Sure, sounds good. I'd say I'd race ya, since if you're in Vector's, we're in the same place, but with your speed... [That'd just be impossible.]

Do you think that perhaps someone could help you to restore your memory? Perhaps one of the FirstForged?

[In Blurr's world deleting someone's memories is possible with the use of an electromagnetic pulse generator, but getting those back was a whole different thing. He hopes someone can help Cliff.]

I don't think I could let those near me, even if I needed help. Who knows, they might change their mind and eat me. [Paranoid much, Blurr?]

You could race me in your car mode while I stay in my normal body, if you want. [You will still lose, though.]

... Dunno. [But by the look on his face he's certainly contemplating it, before he grimaces.] If there's anythin' there to restore. I don't know why I know something's off with that spelunkin' after Grimlock... Sideswipe never seemed to think somethin' was off, which was why I ignored the feeling.

[He shrugs and then grins.] They can't change their minds ya know. That ain't how it works. 'Sides, I think the inverse scraplets're even more sensitive to water than the normal ones...

[He can't put his finger on why, but someone must have mentioned it. Not important.]

I'm faster like that, yeah, but not like you are. [He snorts, but the grin is still there and he doesn't sound particularly upset.]

It might worth a try. The choice it's yours, of course. Perhaps those were erased for the better, who knows.

[Blurr still makes a disgusted face thinking about it.] Water helps to electrocute them? Pleasesayyes.

[Cliffjumper scowls, and by tone and expression both, the suspicion present makes it obvious he doesn't think it's for the "better", at all.]

Nah, not electrocute 'em, more like make them fall apart. They disintegrate in water.

[And it's going to bother him forever that it might be lost and he'll simply have to deal with deja vu and knowing something's off.]

Yeah, basically. Think inverse scraplets take it harder than the "normal" ones, 'cause the negative polarity ones had to be... uh, protected, from general water vapour, while the regular scraplets needed to get water on 'em directly.

[Eyeing Blurr, Cliffjumper snorts.]

Pfft. [With a wave at Blurr, Cliffjumper disconnects and works himself over to the shooting range, wandering over to Blurr when he gets there, since even if they both started from Vector's temple, Blurr would've gotten there first.]

Right. [Eyeing Blurr toughtfully and then the targets on the other end, Cliffjumper taps his chinguard.] Should probably start ya off with just tryin' a normal blaster, even if ya don't have to be too specific if you aim with a cannon.

[That grin is rather wide.]

[But it's worth a try!]

[Blurr just gives Cliff a deer in light looks at the mention of blasters.

Then he looks....suspicious. WHY are you smirking?]

I guess you know what's best. Uhm. What should I shoot?

[Because the thought of Blurr firing the cannon he has is funny, that's all. Looking up from looking over the blaster he's going to hand over to Blurr, Cliffjumper shrugs.]

Don't shoot yourself in the foot, and don't shoot me. [He pops a fresh clip into the gun and hands it over, eyeing Blurr.]

... Until you're about to fire it, keep your fingers away from the trigger, okay? And since we've got a shootin' range, you aim at the targets on the other side. This is just a blaster, so it ain't gonna have much recoil, but it does have some.

[So, you know. Don't stand around without some weight locked otherwise...]

[It might soon become a terrifying thought rather than a funny one. Give him time. Blurr picks up the blaster very carefully and it’s surprised by the weight.]

It’s..heavier than I expected. [He keeps it pointed to the ground and his fingers away from the trigger as Cliff suggested but if insecurity had a face it would be Blurr’s.] ohofcoursethetargetsIknewthat. Let’s see.

[That blaster sure is loud. Also it has a lot of recoil what did you lie to him, Cliff? Or maybe is that Blurr weights almost nothing. Either way, he ended flat on his back.] Ouch. …Did I hit anything at least?

[Erm. Well. Cliffjumper ends up quite unable to control his expression when Blurr stumbles and falls over backwards, but he doesn't burst out laughing. Instead he offers a hand to Blurr to haul himself up with.]

Er. If ya wanted to shoot at the sky, sure. Gonna have to dig your feet in more. [His vocaliser clears and his engine rumbles a little.]

What about I get behind you... I ain't that good at teachin' but, uh... some pointers I should be able to give.

[Blurr won't blame him if he laughs. He will frown, but not blame him. He takes the hand and pulls himself up, still looking dazzled.]

It's my first time, okay. [Grump grump...] o-kay THAT might help.

[There might be a few sub-sonic snickers and Cliffjumper's definitely grinning, but that's all.]

Okay. Like this, then... [He feels a bit awkward about it as he turns Blurr around to face one of the targets again, putting himself behind him and pulls the arm Blurr's holding the gun in up to aim at the target.]

This time, kind of dig your feet in, you can't just stand there like you're about to throw a stone or somethin'. Also, lock your wrist, it'll help keep the shot straight better even if ya stumble back from the recoil.

[Tapping Blurr's wrist in demonstration, Cliffjumper lets his hands drop and he just sort of... hovers... behind Blurr, his weight concentrated so if Blurr stumbles back again, they'll probably not go tumbling to the ground.]

Blurr's going to try his best to ignore those snickers as he pays attention to Cliffjumper's advice. He doesn't feel particularly awkward, why should he?]

I'm not the heaviest mech out there Cliff, even if I dig my feet in I'd probably fall back again if I had to shoot anything big all alone. [He's going to do as Cliffjumer told him, though, trying to aim.

This time the recoil doesn't make him fall but he looses some of his balance. He didn't hit the target but that was expected.]

Maybe not, but I don't think the recoil on this thing'd be enough to tip ya over when you get used to shootin' with it.

[Yeah, he hadn't expected it to work yet, so he just adjusts Blurr's stance again and taps his wrist to remind him.]

Buuut, you should probably not try my cannon, then, though if us want to see what it can do, I can show you.

That's good to know. I'm not sure I would be able to carry it around, it would slow me down so much.

[He straighten himself and moves his a wrist.]How..big is that cannon? [He gives Cliff an amused look.]

I'll show ya when you've got some more shots in. But it's big enough to make craters. [Yes, he sounds really pleased.]
