[Video] [Transmission from: Solian Temple] - Sixth Offense
So, d'I have your approval?
[Barricade is not talking to the camera. He is talking to a small-ish dragon with bronze scales sitting on his desk. Across from the firelizard is a similar dragon made of metal with glowing green optics. The organic and non-organic dragons are both staring at each other, shifting on their feet and twitching their wings. The robotic one eventually takes off into the air, using tiny turbines in its wings to hover for a few moments before landing again.
The organic one turns to look at Barricade after that, squeaking and growling at him. He grins.]
That's what I figured. W-
[He starts looking towards the camera when the robotic firelizard creels metallically at him. He stares for a moment before looking at the feed finally.]
As I was about t'say. I think I've gotten all the kinks worked out with this little fella. He is a mechanical firelizard - non-firebreathing, of course.
I'm hopin' to make more and release them into the wild but I was wondering if anyone might want one for themselves before I start tweaking the programming from 'tame' to 'wild'. The design and mechanics would be the same with each, but with paint t'your liking.
[Locked to Solus Prime and Alpha Trion]
[Once the first transmission is sent, he sends a second, more solemn now.]
There are some things I would like to ask you about, if you've the time and are amenable.

Doesn't hurt that they're cute, though.
[Yep. That is Barricade calling something cute unironically and not to fluster the thing in question.]
no subject
And you're offering to build more? What do you want in return?
[Because . . . yeah, he won't admit it, but they are kind of endearing.]
no subject
[Don't worry, Barricade will admit it for both of them.]
I'll want your desired colors and some time t'consider repayment. [...WAIT.]
... Actually, if I might be able to take a look-see at your flight systems? I've got a couple unusual orders that I could use more data t'fill.
no subject
Sure. When would you like to do that? And what unusual orders?
[He'd at least like to know who he's indirectly helping and what they plan to do with it. He'll pretty much agree regardless
unless a name like Tarn's comes up. TC would HOPE that Barricade's smarter than that and isn't dealing with the slick fragger.]no subject
[Even without a bunch of uber-hackers here Barricade is cautious about how much he says over the Link... regardless of who the orderer happened to be
including Tarn. He's not in the habit of doing background checks for people ordering things that generally aren't dangerous.]no subject
Ah, orders for the dragons. [For some reason, he was thinking personal mods or something.] I can be there today if you have the time.

no subject
[That actually draws a low chuckle from the Seeker.]
I'm sure it's no worse than anyone else with projects in progress. [He's seen what Starscream's lab gets like sometimes. Or Hook's or Shrapnel's.]
I'll be right over.
no subject
I'll be waiting. I'll try to tidy up a bit, too.
no subject
[So long as they're not from someone Thundercracker actually gives a whit about, he's good with it.]
[A little bit later, he arrives, sounding the chime on Barricade's door.]
no subject
[Barricade keys the door open; aside from the variety of parts scattered across most of the flat surfaces in the room, it looks rather nice, really. He flashes a grin, stepping out of the doorway.]
Come in, come in.
[The pair of firelizards from the broadcast creel at Thundercracker. Hello new person!]
no subject
[The two creatures and their greeting draw a small grin from him, and he gives them a nod.]
So, what exactly do you need to look at?
no subject
[Good times, good times.]
Mm, and what I need to get a look at is mostly those lovely wings on you. [He grins and motions with a chromed claw to Thundercracker's wingalings.]
no subject
[Oh, no, wait, he does know what that is.
There were commercials for it sometimes on The History Channel.]Huh.
[And there you go "hitting" him in his pride. The comment gets a rare, wide /grin/ from the Seeker, wings flicking as he shifts a little to show them off.]
Of course. What do you need from me? [He'll head for a bench or worktable if there is one and settle on it.]
no subject
[And he still has extra supplies, even.]
Heh. I'll need you to sit there- [He motions to the cleaned-off desk... the only one in the room.] -while I give you some gentle poking and prodding f'r a bit. Get a feel for things.
no subject
[TC settles with a nod.]
If you have any questions, just ask. I should be able to answer most of them. My wingmates and I have done enough repairs on each other.
[Especially Starscream. Fragger had such a propensity for getting himself beaten to slag, after all.]
no subject
[Barricade is well-acquainted with that position.]
If you're amenable, my assistant could get a closer look at things. It'd feel a bit... crawly, though.
no subject
Yeah . . . pretty much.
[There's a grimace in his tone and on his face, but he lets it go at that. The last comment gets a "look", though.]
Crawly? Eh . . . sure . . .
[If nothing else…he's curious now.]
