[Miko looks a little bit worn out, but not that much worse for the wear, from the trip, and she seems to be proud of something at least.]

Hey... um... I was going to send you guys a message to let you know I decided to go with Wing, and Drift and some of the others, but... when I was going to I couldn't get any reception. I'm sorry for not at least leaving a note. I made sure to stay out of the way of anything dangerous as much as possible...

[She does look genuinely sorry, the pride from before having drained away to show her looking very humbled.]

It was... harder to go alone than I thought it was going to be too... so I won't be doing that again.

So... I found this jar of stuff... well found is not quite the right way to put it... I... took it off one of the things that attacked us, while the others distracted them. I thought maybe either you or one of the others might want to figure out what the stuff is. I will see if I can put some in a container for you, if you want.

[As she talks she shows the jar of stuff she had gotten, holding it close, but carefully, not yet opened nor tested on anything.]

[She tries not to giggle at the doctor's frustration, after all it's stuff he wants to be able to help everyone stay well.]

I've been feeling fine, kind of great actually. And I haven't been all that hungry, not like when I don't feel like eating, just not hungry. I am not sleeping quite as much, but I feel really rested when I wake up. I don't know what it is, but it started being more like this when my Glyph changed a bit.

[Saying this she shows off her glyph from Nexus, which was still a bit larger than it originally was.]

Sometimes it's... a bit hard, I miss being home so I could hang with Raf and Jack most of the time, that's for sure.

[Let the laugh out, Miko. It's a good sign, and even he'll feel a bit better.]

That's good. Shows me you're not suffering from any serious depression. [He goes and fetches the proper medicine and bandages, returning a moment later. Pops open a bottle, sticks in a cotton swab.] This might sting a little. [He gives Miko a second to prepare before applying the swab of alcohol to the first wound.]

[McCoy frowns, eyebrows knitting.] Yeah. I got a couple friends I miss, too. One I didn't think I'd miss at all, but I guess... Well, I'm no stranger to never knowing what you have until it's gone. But you're not alone, Miko. [He places the bandaide over the clean wound.] And I'll see that you never are.

[She sits still, only hissing slightly at the sting, especially since there was plenty to clean away, and some of the scrapes had scabbed a bit roughly, making them try to catch onto the swap and pull.]

Lot of people have come.. and a lot of people have gone. You know... it's funny, this place seems to make people make more friends than they expected. One guy that became a friend, he is a Starscream from another universe, not mine, and he was really nice. I never would have though I would call a Starscream a friend...

[She looked at the doctor and felt herself tearing up, suddenly overwhelmed by all the little feelings she was dealing with. Hastily she swiped at her eyes to rid them of the tears.]

[McCoy felt a sharp little pang in his heart. Oh, no. Don't start crying on him, kid. He listens, however, and puts on another bandage.] Yeah. It's hard losing loved ones. Even if it's... like this. [He flits a hand. "Like this" being "them suddenly vanishing out of thin air".] But as long as you stay strong, they'll be proud of you, no matter where you are.

[McCoy places a hand on her head, gives it a little ruffle.] I think you've been doin' pretty good, myself.
