[someone's been busy in the junkpile as well. He's got a human sized table... sort of. One that's on the ground, at which he's kneeling. And he's got... stuff... on the table. He is, as usual, idly shuffling his cards.]
Well, well. When beasties aren't attacking the place, it can get downright dull around here, hmm? I mean, one can explore, of course, but that gets rather lonely; and one can garden as well, if one is human, but when all the chores have been done, what's there to do?
[he gestures to the stuff on the table. It... looks like a bunch of games. A lot are pretty beat up -- he did pull them out of the junkyard -- and with a few it looks like he's cobbled together extra pieces from spare parts. It looks like he currently has Yahtzee, backgammon, a whole bunch of dice, several decks of cards, what looks like a truly ancient Senet board, parcheesi, and checkers. And then... some odder ones. For instance, for some reason there is a Lord of the Rings Monopoly board. And then... Settles of Catan and... something called Pixel Lincoln.. It looks like he may have gathered even MORE in the background.]
A few weeks worth of work. But they're here for the taking, and I'm always up for a game of any sort. And yet, still no chessboard.
Beyond that... if you're not the sort for games, I've a little skill at fortune-telling with the cards. You can ask me any question you like and I'll try to give you an answer.
[ooc: so yeah, board game collection. I figure most games can be handwaved; Luxord will usually win at most games unless a character is spectacularly good in canon, or a supercomputer. I, the mun, am pretty good at some but terrible at others. I think there's online versions of a lot of these if we wanted to be really silly?
AS FOR CARD READINGS: I will do IN CHARACTER tarot card readings for people! I am still working out the system I want to use (developing a unique one for Luxord) and reading tags will be very, very slow. I will be using actual cards, and winging it. Luxord's got no magical fortune telling abilities or way to know the future, he just does it for the lulz... unless you WANT him to accidentally happen to draw a card that has a particular bearing on your character's life? ]

oh lord Luxord will DESTROY HIM at Risk.
Re: oh lord Luxord will DESTROY HIM at Risk.
((OOC| Can we say Pscream had crap luck, but played really a strong game at the start that was bordering on RANDOM PLACEMENT/maybe genius, But then at the halfway point started playing like he was drunk, and then at the end Luxord TOTALLY ANNIHILATES HIM?))

[There's a moment as he waffles on what to ask -- not that he really believes in this sort of thing, mind you -- ... but then he HAD seen zombies recently. So. What the hell!]
If and no doubt when the Megatron from my universe shows up here with the rest of the riffraff, how should I proceed? There, that is your question. Good enough for you?
((He'll be pretty pissed off about that until the next person gets the better of him and he... forgets all about this. But hey! Bright side: now he knows the names of some of the continents! ... Like Madagascar. ))
this was a really bizarre spread for starscream let me tell you
[He lays down one card, then, underneath it, two columns of three]
This is the Path spread, which will tell you what path to take. The top card is the heart of the matter, and casts its influence over the whole reading. The left column is how you've behaved in the past and the present concerning this matter, and the right is how you should behave in the future. The cards proceed in pairs, and I'll explain as I come to them...
[NOTE: MIGHT RE-DRAW THIS TOP CARD]
The first card: the Page of Cups. This card is a card of new opportunities, new impulses, namely positive ones: positive praise, positive change, friendship, and the offer of peace after a time of strife.
Now, the two cards at the top of the path. This level is the level of consciousness, how you think. In the past, we have the Page of Swords. You don't like this individual, and in the past your relationship has been fraught with conflict. When he arrives, there may be an unavoidable altercation.
In the future... the Ten of Cups. This is a card of harmony and peace. In this case, I'd suggest trying to broker peace with this person, at least for the time being, and in doing so things should sail smoothly...
Now, the next two cards, the level of emotions... fascinating. In the past, the Moon, and in the future, the Sun.
So! in the past and present, your life has been ruled by fear. Your behavior has thus far revolved around trying to compensate for your weaknesses. You've had hopes and dreams about the future, but they've been crippled by your fears.
As for the future, however... you need to be ready to forgive and forget, to approach with understanding and patience. Think of this all as a new opportunity.
Finally, the last two cards, how you've behaved outwardly in this matter until now. In the past, the Three of Wands. You have, up till now, tried to put up the pretense of being a true leader, certain in his footing and sure of his actions, a visionary. But I suspect, given the Moon governing your emotions, that this has all been a ruse, and that inwardly you are still ruled by your fear.
Finally, the Hanged Man. This is a card of suspension. It indicates that whatever you've been doing up until this point has left you frozen, stagnated. It's a path you've been beating your head against and it has led nowhere. You need to re-evaluate your priorities and try again from a different perspective, and, in doing that, you will be set free.
So, overall... it seems that this Megatron has been a source of much anxiety and strife, a character with whom you have come into conflict again and again. The cards suggest that when he arrives, you should look at the event as a new opportunity, and take that opportunity to try to reconcile your differences and begin anew.
I don't know anything about cards BUT EXCUSE ME AS I SCREAM
Do you want to proceed:
> Y | N ?]
[As the reading went on, Starscream's wings went increasingly rigid and stiff. By the time it was over, and then for a good long handful of minutes afterward, he was completely silent. Just when it was maybe time to wonder if the robot had hit screen saver mode, or had just left completely, he piped up, voice a little strange:]
The cards say that, do they?
[...]
That I should join him at his side?
(NO NOT THE MOST EMOTIONALLY SENSITIVE STARSCREAM OH NO NOT THE ONE STRUGGLING TO FIND HIS PLACE IN THE UNIVERSE.
...Wow.
Guess the cards say it's time to be a Decepticon again.)
IT'S ALL SLEIGHT OF HAND BABY
[shuffle]
You can take it however you like, or you can ignore it; you can decide that higher forces or my own brilliant intuition are trying to tell you something or you can dismiss it all as the vagrancies of random chance. It's up to you, really.
Luxord, are you enjoying this brief peek into the train wreck that is Starscream's psyche?
Random chance then; that was just a display of a less evolved species trying to find sense out of nonsense.
[he feels better already]
Entertain me some other way.
Yes, yes he is.
It's all down hill from here
This was going to be so much fun!]
That is acceptable. I will be there in 3 hours.
