[Video: Around the Junk pile]

[Well you see Rose at the edge of the Junk Pile with a pretty sweet looking motorcycle standing in front of her, her mech firelizard sitting on the handle bars. She is looking at the thing, a bit perplexed. Motorcycles do not exist on her world and this is the first time she's sees one in person.]

I figure this thing is use for transportation, but....

What exactly is it, and how does one make it work? Such mechanical devices for transportation do not exist on my world, and I am afraid my knowledge is limited to what I have learned since my arrival here.

If anyone could teach me how to use it I would appreciate it. Having something to use for travel other than my Dragoon Armor and my own two feet will be quite welcoming.

I've already talked and whistled to it, and nothing happened. Besides, I don't think it would be someone if it had a tag with my name on it.

Then it's most likely just a normal motorcycle. Wouldn't that be great for you, though? You coudl have gotten your own personal Cybertronian, like that Jack kid owned Arcee's aft.

Yep. I even fixed Leviathan's motorcycle once. It won't work if it doesn't has fuel. This one doesn't look very old, even if you found him in the junkpile, there's a chance that it's functional.

[Knock Out takes a good look at the thing.] Depending on the model the starting procedure varies. Generally, you start a motorcycle by turning the ignition switch. Do you see that key on the side, near the handle? You need to move it but first you need to sit on the machine like you would sit on a horse. Make sure your feet are firmly on the ground.

[He's only helping because he likes earth vehicles, Rose, it's not that he likes you a bit or anything.]

[Tsudere much, Knockout?]

Well, it started it up, so I assume it has fuel. Where can I get more when it runs out.

[She goes to straddle the machine again, and turns the ignition again. Note that the kick stand is still down.]

I've gotten up to this point but I cannot get it to move forward.

[Tsundere? Him? No it must be your imagination.]

Someone will have to replace its engine so it can use energon, that's what happened with Leviathan and Gunmax's bike. Who knows, perhaps some medic here knows how to do that. [Do you have more of those crystals, Rose? Or something to trade? He's not picky when it comes to those things.]

And you shouldn't. Now that the engine has started, leave it to warm up for a minute or two. In the meantime, remove all the bike locks and stands, then put the bike in 1st or 2nd gear depending on which works best for that sort of motorcycle, the second one I would say, then hold the clutch in and begin pushing...

He goes on and on for a bit, explaining the right way to do it. He never mentions the use of a helmet, mostly because he finds those uslñess.]

Right... I don't suppose you could do it? [How about buffings? You take buffings right?]

[Knockout... You might as well be speaking Greek to her, and the confusion is starting to show a little on her face. This is what happens when you talk to someone whose world is like the Dark Ages.]

Gear? Clutch? I have no idea what you are talking about.

I could. [Oh yeah, he likes those too.] I need to give it a good look first, though.]

...I will have to go there and show you, don't I? [Ah, Rose, such silly world you lived in.] Give me a few minutes.

That may be a good idea... I am not far from the Junk Pile.

[She'll just be waiting there with her dragon and bike.]

Give me 15 minutes or so. Get to know the bike in the meantime and once I come you can ask me all the questions.

[He's in the middle of the clinic doings stuff and Flonne is nowhere to be found lately. After 12 minutes Knock Out gets there, engine reeving.] How's the lovely lady doing?

[Rose is still on the bike, looking at all the dials trying to figure out what they mean, Charmer sitting behind her. The little guy chirps up when Knock Out approaches, and the revving of the engine causes her to look up.]

I am doing well. Just trying to figure out what all this means. [And she gestures to the dial panel.]

[Knock Out left breakylizard at the clinic, sleeping in his office. He keeps it mostly to himself, only Barricade knows about him now that Smokescreen's gone. The medic transforms and crouches down near her.]

I'm don't really know all the specific but those things aren't hard to figure out. This thing here? [His long claw-like finger points to one of the panels but doesn't touch it because he's could crush it by accident.] That let's you know how fast you are going, that other one here tells you if you are running out of energy...

[He explains everything again, hoping that this time Rose will get most of the things.]

[Rose nods, listening carefully and taking mental notes on what does what.]

That clears things up some.

You should watch more movies, this sort of vehicles show up a lot. [And the stunts are cool too.]

Well, are you going to try it or not?

I have never watched a movie. The did not exist on my world.

[She starts up the bike again.]

Might as well give it a try.

That's awful and we should fix it immediately. Perhaps we can find movies in the library or the junkpile.

Those things go relatively fast, watch out. [Not like he cares if you break your neck or something but people might blame him for it.]

[She nods and starts up the motorcycle like the way he taught her, kicked up the kickstand, put it into gear and let go of the break. It started to roll forward some, not much so her foot stayed on the ground for balance.

[Then she turns the handle for gas, and the thing takes off, faster than what she was expecting. Needless to say she is surprise, quickly loses her balance and falls over to the side.]

That could have gone better...

[She can still move the leg the bike landed on with only minor soreness, meaning it will just get a nasty looking bruise.]

Could have gone worse too. [Knock Out catches up on her easily, longer legs an all. He gives her legs a look, looking to see how damaged she is. Doctor and all.]

It is not broken, right? You humans are too fragile, with all the hard parts in the inside. Exoskeletons and armors are far more useful than softy skin. You need to be careful with that thing.

[She gets the bike off of her and stands up, putting all her weight on the leg to test it.]

No, not broken broken, just sore. Nothing I can't live with. I guess I have to work on balancing and speed.

If we have something here is time, so...Do you want to try again or first you want to learn better how that machine works? I suggest the second. [Mostly for the bike's sake. It looks beautiful, it would be a tragedy to ruin it's finish.]

There might be books about bicycles in Trion's library.

[Then you might not want to see the scratches on the side the bike landed on, Knockout.]

That maybe wise. Perhaps you can work on converting it to energon fuel while I read up on to work this thing?

I can. And I'm sure we can get to some sort of agreement. Can you carry it back to the temple? if not I can just grab it.

[It will buff out.]

I can push it, but I doubt I can carry it all the way.

[No excuse!]

[Knock Out is doing this only for the bike, understood? Nothing else. He leans over and picks the bike with one hand and Rose with the other. Carefully.] You humans walk so slow, this will be faster.

[Being picked up gets an involuntary yelp from her. Thank you Knock Out for reminding her how tiny she is in comparison to Cybertronians.]

Well, this is certainly a different way to travel.

[Meanwhile, Charmer if fluttering around them both chirping]

[You are welcome, girl. He's not exactly bit for a Cybertronian so he more than happy to do this from time to time.

He snickers as a reply, then looks at the dragon.] Who's the little guy? He's Barricade's handyworks, that I can tell.

[Said little dragon is going to perch on KO's arm close to Rose.]

That is Charmer, and yes, he is one of the firelizards that Barricade made.
