[Video] [Transmission from: Vectorian Temple] - Seventh Offense | Post Ultimate Showdown
[Barricade is looking... slightly more tired than usual when he starts up the video. He'd been helping to fix the injured as they came in and - when that was done - drove all the way to Vector's quadrant and harassed the Acolytes about where a certain speedster was located. He exvents slowly before he finally speaks.]
Did what I could in the medbay for the injured. If anyone involved in the operation is listening... good work. You did our little society proud.
Now. If anyone needs me, I'll be in Vector's temple.
Someone ought to be here when Blurr wakes up.
[Besides, someone had to put the pieces of him back together. Why not him?]

I've put him back together as best as I could. Now we just have to wait for him to actually get back to his body. Sure he wouldn't mind a few more friendly faces when he wakes up, though.
[Death being kind of traumatic and all.]

Alright, I'll come down. Are there any like... procedures for this sort of thing? Or do we just wait for him to wake up by himself?
[He's a bit... well, a lot, weirded out by the whole coming back from the dead thing, but for once in his life he's decided that it would be prudent to put Blurr's needs before his own. Death sure does suck!]

No procedures that I know of. We just... wait. For whatever happens that pulls them back.
[Barricade wishes he could find this weird. He really does. But he's seen so many other people come back from the dead that it's a little old hat to him.]
[video] FORGOT TO MENTION
[Probably shouldn't keep bad mouthing them, but he doesn't like not knowing stuff. Plus, he figures they don't care. Ah, the inner machinations of Sentinel's mind.]
[He also thinks about bringing something with him for Blurr when he wakes up. What even is the tradition for greeting someone who's just come back from the dead? He settles on nothing, lest it interrupt... whatever is happening, though makes a mental note to get him a drink after he's back.]
[video] OH SENTINEL
[He's spoken to one or two of them enough to give them a pass. They're decent enough... if pretty distant, as far as Barricade is concerned.
Drinks are probably the most acceptable 'sorry you died' gift available anyway. Those and hugs, really. Hugs are always a solid choice.]
[For a brief moment, he looks incredibly embarrassed.] Um. Looks like they neglected maps, as well. Where... where exactly are you holding Blurr's body?
[Which he will go ahead and do.]
You know, someone ought to make maps of the temples. If they don't spontaneously re-arrange their halls, anyway.
video > action
[Hoping that Barricade didn't notice his faltering demeanor, he swallows slightly and tries to regain his posture.]
So, uh. How... how exactly did he die?
action
You sure you want to ask me that?
[Most people don't really want to know what actually happened to their loved ones to make them look so terrible.
Still, since Sentinel asked...]
From what I could gather of his injuries, he was torn apart and chewed on by what looked to be a turbofox.
Re: action
[He does care, but Sentinel is a special kind of callous. The type that doesn't really put much thought into what he's saying.]
Uh. You did a good job of putting him back together, considering everything.
[People like hearing what they want to hear, right? Not that Barricade did a bad job - he just maaaay be regretting coming to see Blurr. Sentinel has not seen a lot of dead bodies okay]
action
[Heavens only know what that thing is going to get up to without Tarn or Kaon to rein it in.]
I try. Figured it'd be better to come back into a body that's in one piece.
[That and Barricade never abandons a chance to keep himself in practice with repairing a wide variety of body types and formats.]
Re: action
He was... lucky you were around, no doubt the other medics have their servos full.
[As lucky as you can be after being torn apart!!]
action
They do. So did I. But there are enough medics around that they can spare one, really. Only so much I can do for the ones that survived.
[The other medics can have fun with escape attempts from their patients. Barricade's is luckily going nowhere.]
