video;

After what happened, that fight. It's made me wonder.

[More like, after a conversation with McCrane sempai. But that was private, and he won't bring it up now. At least he sounds more confident than he usually does. He looks it, too. Then again, with that bland expression on his face, who can tell?]

Police aren't meant to be as soldiers are. Are they? That isn't what I... [He almost grimaces.] What little the programming tells me, is that.

Would it be better for all of us here, if those in charge of our law enforcement were less like that. More... as police officers? Less of discontent warriors?

[Yeah, that's right, he's talkin' bout you, Prowl. He pauses, and then his tone turns much more fond, warming around the edges:]

And Kay. If you're hearing me... we have work to do. Don't we?

Keep it high on your list of priorities.

[He frowns slightly] You don't seem to like that most of the force leaders have a background of war. If they do change how they run things... will you be able to stick with it?

[That's a direct challenge, bro]

And yet you expect them to change who they are from "discontent warriors" to police officers.

To fit your desire of a police force that is right in your optics.

You're calling for segregation in a community that couldn't even fill a single temple if they were all gathered in one.

[He scowls] You too. You assume this is going to be so easy to split them up, that everything is so black and white.

And how many died and were badly injured as a result?

I don't think it's fair for members of the police force who are lacking the combat experience that comes from being in a war to be put up beside soldiers who know what to expect, and then get murdered en mass.

Having an army doesn't mean scrap if the experience and skill are lacking.

[Oh no there's that annoying smile again] You say that, and yet there's layers and layers of complexity and complications to sift through to get a proper system going.

So, what, a police force of about four members?

I'm interested where you're planning on getting the equipment for all this. Oh, and the point of having two different forces when the less experienced ones could be simply trained.

I am listening. I think it's a roundabout and unnecessary thing to do to something that isn't that big of a problem to begin with.

[Sorry Kagerou, talking down to people and the whole... raging jerk this is kinda all he's good at. How to social?? We just don't know]

I'm not saying you have to change who you are entirely. Just... adapt to the situation.

What happened with Tarn was awful, and I don't know about you, but I'd really rather not have anymore deaths happen; Cybertronian or not.

[He cares??? Wow, guess some Autobot coding actually did make it into that processor of his.]

[That and... the irony of Sentinel telling someone to adapt.]

Great, so we're stuck with a group of robots unprepared to even reach a compromise.

[He makes a dismissive wave] You'll never manage to advance in skill and evolve as individual entities if you're too stubborn to accept change when it's necessary.

[Sentinel. Sentinel stop it's rude to be so hypocritical.]
