No. I haven't seen Starscream in quite a long while, even less had a fight with him. [The idea feels vaguely ridiculous, even if he's got proof, impossible proof but proof nonetheless, that "he" has had quite a lot to do with Starscream and recently. Even if he's pretty sure he hasn't.]

But yes, I noticed that there's data in the extended comm that does suggest I or somebody very close to it [And that he's either inhabiting the body of, or something else is wrong] has been here for quite a while.

People have been acting strange since the storm happened and that pillar touched the ground. Do you remember those two facts?

Considering that as far as I'm aware, I onlined when the pillar was already there and the storm, then, must already have been over, no.

[Behind his visor, his optics narrow.]

The question is then how and what influence that pillar might have on what is either possession, superimosed impressions of memories and personality of alternate versions of the individuals present [Which isn't precisely the same as possession, note.], or merely that we think...

[He trails off, shaking his helm. The last is actually the most awkward and unpleasant to him - the first two at least would mean a true origin of... well. Him as far as he's aware of it, the last would mean something more unpleasant. But it is still a possibility.]

Yes, more or less. They are the ones in charge of this place and they're like demi gods. Since the storm happened they have been missing completely. Asking the acolytes didn't really help much.

Yes, that is indeed the oldest theory of where the first came from, though whether or not that's true, even if there might be some sort of power source within Cybertron...

I fought Unicron's forces in more than one occasion here. The Evil is real, so I'm pretty sure God is as well. But all's a matter of perception.

Power can come from many origins, and merely because someone claims they follow or have obtained it from a particular source---

Regardless of how these changes or sudden displacements have happened or affect us, it's quite clear they remove the status quo and replace it with confusion - and depending on, perhaps, to be blunt, chaos.

So even with a glyph, influence seems to be impossible to wholly be protected from.

The last time something like this happened it was because Alpha Trion lost some of the pages of one of his books. But I don't think anybody have found any pages this time. any

Considering, if what you said is true, that the changes, or displacements, happened right on the back of this pillar arriving, it would stand to reason it is somehow involved.

So, to that end, an investigation will have to be conducted at some point, as said.

That we will do. is the next curse of action what worries me. The pillar is so tall the end goes through the lambda itself. Trying to destroy it might not be the brightest idea.

It depends on what the pillar would be made of, and how the space-time anomaly it extends from... or up into would affect it, or affects the environment around it.

It may not follow normal laws of physics.
