anonymous text; open to everyone

my robotic angel of the east

i had planned to write a very long and passionate letter detailing my ardor for you, but all words are insufficient to encompass all that i have felt for you in this very short time

to everyone else you are only drift, a robot without a home and with a mysterious past and a mysterious smile and a mysterious ... (i'll fill this in with something else later, maybe that crest?)

but to me, you are everything. you are the light of every star that i see reflected in your hull, and every time i see you i long to tell you everything, but the thought of being rejected is unbearable to me. so i make excuses to see you often, and hope that you will take that first step, instead.

please, i beg you, don't reject me because of my organic state. don't turn away from me in my hour of emotional need. i want you more than i have ever wanted any other being, organic or otherwise, and i could not bear if you didn't at least entertain the possibility of making me yours, and you mine.

in this brave new world so in need of terraforming, drift, you have terraformed my everything.

forever yours,
V.

Given that you are yet another Starscream, I find myself doubting your statement.

Yes, but your name carries a somewhat more... concerning connotation.

[ AKA: Soundwave is sometimes a problem, but Starscreams always are. ]

Worse, actually. At least Megatron is consistent in his goals. Starscreams tend to be a bit... wishy washy.

And given that you've been arguing about the honour of your name, rather than even attempting to defend the truth of your assertion, I'm leaning towards believing it to be a falsehood.

There is.

[ He stops, then, Starscream's point hitting rather close to home, based on Dudewave's extremely negative experiences with other Ratchets. ]

I-- hmm.

[ A deep breath. ]

You have a point. I was ... hasty in assuming things about you based on the actions of your other universe selves, and that was rude of me. I apologize.
