I... apologise if I was... ah, short with anyone while the pillar's influence was in effect.
[Jetfire shifts his shoulders, briefly glancing away. Thinking of that is just kind of uncomfortable, the way things changed - and didn't - from simply staying.]
I've more important matters to bring up for consideration, however, as during the first examination of the pillar I managed to find out it goes down. It comes from the Lambda, and goes down. And not just under the surface, but into the core.
[Folding his arms over his chestplates, Jetfire frowns. he's not sure how to take the additional information, but there ought to be energy within Cybertron, so he can accept that.]
I believe the best method of taking care of the pillar or conducting more research towards that same course of action would be to go to where it... er, attaches to Cybertron itself, as destroying or otherwise trying to remove it at the surface will leave part of it still on, and in, Cybertron.
So if anyone has any knowledge regarding a way down into the core of Cybertron, if you could speak up...
[Pause. Things have been... awkward the last few days, but.]
Ah, Starscream..? Could I ask you to come with?

[Given that he'd been THERE with you, and also his post on the network.]
If you're heading down, then having the experience of a miner will be useful to you. I'll begin looking for surface cracks.
If there's something it wants in the Core, then there's got to be another access point to it.

Ah... true. [The question of "when were you a miner?" gets stuck in his vocal processors and stays there - differences between realities, though the idea is still... odd.]
It... [Jetfire's optics flicker briefly as he shifts his shoulders.] The pillar is absorbing or otherwise removing energy from the core, which might put us on a timetable in regards to the Badlands.
Either way, yes, there ought to be several ways to get down, if nothing else from the temples, but I doubt it would be easier to find those entrances than ones that might be out in the open.
[Anything else would be silly, and the temple entrances, if there are any, are probably all warded in some way, or at least locked.]

[It was something to focus his energy on.]
I'll need some help getting to the bottom, however.

That should be possible to... well, arrange. [Jetfire's tone remains level, but his wings twitch at the thought of letting, aah, a Megatron, alternate version or not, ride in his cockpit. If nothing else comes up, however...]

I'd suggest putting me down there as soon as you can.
[Especially as he still has every intention of attacking the Pillar if no progress is made within a week.]
You're probably the only one even capable of taking me.
[He can't help it...he smirks.]

[You didn't. Honestly, Megatron. There's a muted snort from Jetfire and he can't believe he's having an exchange like this with a Megatron.]
I don't know, I'm pretty sure Skyfire would be capable of taking you as well, but involving more people seem... ah, unnecessary. As it is, though, I believe you're big enough you'll take up nearly all available space.
[It might be the dry tone and tilt of his helm that, instead of mitigating the words chosen rather... add, to them.]
I... could meet you at your current location if you're available.
[Not that he feels comfortable with playing taxi for Megatron, but all options available should be investigated.]
