I... apologise if I was... ah, short with anyone while the pillar's influence was in effect.

[Jetfire shifts his shoulders, briefly glancing away. Thinking of that is just kind of uncomfortable, the way things changed - and didn't - from simply staying.]

I've more important matters to bring up for consideration, however, as during the first examination of the pillar I managed to find out it goes down. It comes from the Lambda, and goes down. And not just under the surface, but into the core.

[Folding his arms over his chestplates, Jetfire frowns. he's not sure how to take the additional information, but there ought to be energy within Cybertron, so he can accept that.]

I believe the best method of taking care of the pillar or conducting more research towards that same course of action would be to go to where it... er, attaches to Cybertron itself, as destroying or otherwise trying to remove it at the surface will leave part of it still on, and in, Cybertron.

So if anyone has any knowledge regarding a way down into the core of Cybertron, if you could speak up...

[Pause. Things have been... awkward the last few days, but.]

Ah, Starscream..? Could I ask you to come with?

Uh...a groundbridge was what me and the team used back home. It could take us to anywhere on Earth quickly. Uh...kinda like a Spacebridge, if you know of those, but doesn't have the same range.

[He nods.]

Yeah, the bridge is useless without coordinates. But, uh...if you find a way, I'm willin' to go too. I used to work construction, well, do work construction here, if that would help in decidin' how to take it down.

Yeah, pretty much. In our case it was fuel, plus the Decepticons on our world controlled Spacebridge tech. [Not to mention it had been lost for megacycles prior to Shockwave reverse engineering them.

Bulkhead tilts his own head some, looking thoughtful.]

Yeah, I figured. An above ground hit just trying to blast it down could be a bad idea. Too much chance of it hitting another building, or even someone. Not with a thing that size, unless we took it in stages.

The technology was lost for megacycles. Until one of Megatron's scientists, Shockwave, managed to engineer one. But, since Energon was hard to come by for us, having just a groundbridge was better anyway.

[It really was, but hey, they managed to destroy one and hijack the other for a while.]

Yeah, agreed. [His own smile wavers a little though he remains thoughtful.] Not sure I like the sound of that. But got any plans for when we do get down there? Or just wingin' it?
