I... apologise if I was... ah, short with anyone while the pillar's influence was in effect.

[Jetfire shifts his shoulders, briefly glancing away. Thinking of that is just kind of uncomfortable, the way things changed - and didn't - from simply staying.]

I've more important matters to bring up for consideration, however, as during the first examination of the pillar I managed to find out it goes down. It comes from the Lambda, and goes down. And not just under the surface, but into the core.

[Folding his arms over his chestplates, Jetfire frowns. he's not sure how to take the additional information, but there ought to be energy within Cybertron, so he can accept that.]

I believe the best method of taking care of the pillar or conducting more research towards that same course of action would be to go to where it... er, attaches to Cybertron itself, as destroying or otherwise trying to remove it at the surface will leave part of it still on, and in, Cybertron.

So if anyone has any knowledge regarding a way down into the core of Cybertron, if you could speak up...

[Pause. Things have been... awkward the last few days, but.]

Presicely, though one could hope the Firstforged would be back by then and could assist... [Trailing off with a frown, Jetfire wonders where they might be and if their disappearance is tied to the pillar as well. He put that thought aside for the moment to focus on what they were discussing right now, though.]

While I was, er... influenced, I had a brief discussion with Blurr and he brought up the suggestion of using Barricade's mechanical... lizards? Or borrow acolytes. One would hope the lack of a spark or a... ah, mind in the case of organics could negate any influence.

[Even if he wasn't exactly clear on how organic self awareness, personality, sentience and intelligence worked.]

That sounds like something would should try if we can manage it. Hopefully it will be enough.

I would certainly hope so as well, since that would greatly minimise the danger to us while trying to deal with it... However, if that doesn't work, I simply hope we will have a strategy available that will make the consequences of dealing with it more... ah, manageable.

[Frowning, Jetfire crossed his arms over his chestplates.]

Either way, hopefully we will only need one try now that we're... ah, somewhat more aware of what we're dealing with.
