[Jetfire shifts his shoulders, briefly glancing away. Thinking of that is just kind of uncomfortable, the way things changed - and didn't - from simply staying.]

I've more important matters to bring up for consideration, however, as during the first examination of the pillar I managed to find out it goes down. It comes from the Lambda, and goes down. And not just under the surface, but into the core.

[Folding his arms over his chestplates, Jetfire frowns. he's not sure how to take the additional information, but there ought to be energy within Cybertron, so he can accept that.]

I believe the best method of taking care of the pillar or conducting more research towards that same course of action would be to go to where it... er, attaches to Cybertron itself, as destroying or otherwise trying to remove it at the surface will leave part of it still on, and in, Cybertron.

So if anyone has any knowledge regarding a way down into the core of Cybertron, if you could speak up...

[Pause. Things have been... awkward the last few days, but.]

I was worried, no point on lying about it. But at least you didn't seem too violent just really intimidating sometimes.

It could hurt the planet itself too. I know Cybertron's dead in some realities, I wouldn't like that to happen here. But once we find the bottom, then what...?

Decepticon or not, staying a Decepticon or not, I was never particularly inclined towards violence unless necessary. [He shakes his helm and considers with some regret that he's gotten "better" at actually taking to violence when "necessary".]

It... well. It sort of is. [With a soft sigh, the static barely audible, Jetfire folds his arms over his chestplates.] The pillar is not just channeling energy into the core, but drawing energy from it as well, [One hand twitches up towards his glyph] energy that seems to be tied to our glyphs.

I'm actually really glad for that. You are mech of considerable size, no offense intended, and I don't dare to imagine what you could do it you were fond of havoc like, let's say, Blitzwing.

Size and... ah, armaments. More so while I was... altered. But it seems even staying with the Decepticons would not change my willingness or enjoyment in using weapons.

[He's pretty well-armed as-is, but the alternate him had been even more so.]

Unfortunately, yes. [Jetfire's exoression's tight and serious now.] In the long run, this might mean the integrity of our glyphs are threatened, and thus the protection they grant, which is a... ah, considerable issue.

I am almost afraid of asking how many weapons you had in you. For that I'm sure everyone's relieved.

Right now my weapons consist of paired guns in my external helmet, gun mounts that attach to my arms, and my rifle... The additional armaments that... er, alternate seemed to have added were guns to the boosters in my legs, and extra gun mounts on my main boosters, a set for each side.

[Considerable.]

I'll do that, certainly.

Guns. In your helmet. [Blurr is trying to keep a straight face here. It's hard.] I don't dare to ask about the booster guns. That's what I call coming prepared.

Erm, yes. They can revolve, so while their operational range isn't extremely wide, they have good uses in situations where I need an element of surprise.

[Here, let him just take out his external helmet and hold it up, tapping the rim of what looks like one of a double set of antennaes.]

I only added these and made the arm gun-mounts after it became undeniably clear I couldn't carry simple hand blasters anymore, unfortunately. [Jetfire shrugs, eyeing his radiation protection helmet, optics slightly dimmed.] Clearly that... er, alternate version of me decided to go much farther in the augmentations for... ah, personal armaments.
