Hey guys.
[Kay, you've been rather absent recently...]
Great work with that pillar. I mean...I would have gone with you but I've had...promises to keep. It's all fixed, right?
[Right. Good.]
I know this is short notice but I really...really need some help. Who's good with tech?

Re: [Action]
[so let him just sidestep that by...]
Why don't you tell me some of their stories while I have a closer look at this thing?
[Action]
Oh c'mon, a guy like YOU wants to hear stories about a froofy lawyer?
Re: [Action]
You just said they're interesting! How can a thief have less interesting stories than a boring old engineer?
[Action]
Well...how about I tell you about the time Mr. Edgeworth took me to see the Steel Samurai?
The Jammin' Ninja's totally better, though.
Re: [Action]
Sure, that sounds a lot more interesting than the story of that time I got called out to help fix a broken circuit, only to find out the guy who called me just hadn't plugged it in.
[he's just gonna poke and prod the device and do engineer-y things while she talks ok]
[Action]
Ugh, don't you hate when that happens? I mean, the toaster shouldn't trick you like that sometimes!
[Seems like Kay was on the other side of that situation...]
Re: [Action]
It happened a lot when I was in the engineering college as well. Can I see your glove?
[Action]
Oh! Sure. It's from my suit.
[There's another few seconds of digging in her fanny pack, pulling out a metallic, armoured glove. As if from a mechsuit.]
Pretty cool, huh.
Re: [Action]
Not that I can't do it, more that if you're watching me it'll look like I'm cannibalizing the poor things.
[...where did she get a glove like that SERIOUSLY]
[Action]
...
You like it? Ms. Solus Prime and Blurr gave it to me for my birthday.
...along with a whole suit.
Re: [Action]
[eyebrows go uuuuup] Solus gave you a gift? Wow. What did you steal for her for that?
[Action]
[But that smile widens.]
She gave it to me for my 18th birthday.
Re: [Action]
How nice of her. What is it, a battle suit?
[there's a tiny frown. he hopes the first forged aren't expecting the kids to fight]
[Action]
When you're human in this place...you have to do things outside the norm.
[Uncle don't worry about her she's used to this.]
Re: [Action]
[HE'LL WORRY ANYWAY]
[Action]
...You're totally from space, aren't you.
Re: [Action]
Born and raised on a small moon station near Saturn.
[he makes a face] I know not of your strange Earthen customs!
[Action]
Wait...you're that far?
But how??
[YOU HAVE HER ATTENTION NOW.]
Re: [Action]
[he can't even imagine what it's like in kay's universe you poor primitive monkey]
Uh. When are you from?
[Action]
Uh...2019. You?
Re: [Action]
Pretty far away! You know, I think I remember hearing legends of a great thief from Earth about 200 years ago...
[lying out his ass, of course, but hey - maybe kay will believe him??]
[Action]
No way. You're making that up.
[Hook, line and sinker.]
Re: [Action]
[steeples fingers. excellent]
[Action]
[She's practically leaning over the bed, hands to her scarf and staring at Isaac with wide eyes. If she'd ever needed a spark to continue her legacy, she just got it now from him.]
So the legend of the Great Thief of Truth lives on?
Re: [Action]
Pretty sure they sell for thousands, now.
