[The manic look of someone very new to Cybertron has faded by the time Alia actually makes her call to the network, but there's still an unmistakable wide-eyed expression to her as the video feed picks up. It's probably not helped by the fact that so many of the inhabitants here so are blasted tall that she's paranoid about being stepped on.]

If there are any Maverick Hunters in the area, please respond. This is Alia. I, ah, could use some company about now.

[She taps the microphone-- decorative, thankfully-- on her headset and sighs.]

Ok, so I'll admit to being new around here. I got the orientation, but... what is there to do around here if you're not fifty feet tall?

It's a communication booster. My day job is directing field agents in combat zones, so I have to be able to transmit and receive across a pretty wide range.

[And she might just be a little reluctant to end the illusion that she's human, if only to avoid an argument right off the bat. Let her get through her first week. Maybe. Hopefully.]

[he thinks for a second] I think there's a police force around here if you're looking for something to do. No doubt they could use someone to monitor all the homicidal robots around here.

If joining some of the researchers here doesn't work out, I think I'll check it out. Sounds like freelance exploration is big around here too?

Yeah, I think people mostly just try to survive, but help with anything is always appreciated. If you decide to be a drifter, no-one will be angry with you or anything.

I don't think drifting would be good for my stress level.

[Living in isolated dome communities and still trying to exercise life-or-death control over the majority-reploid population, mostly. Friendly people! She might just still be bitter about being ordered to sabotage a friend's work, too.]
