[video] Edge of Solus' quadrant, crystal tree forest

Since the Firstforged are leaving, unknown for how long, I was thinking we might want to patrol more consistently towards the borders of Haven, especially in the direction of the Badlands.

[She needs some distraction and she's been considering bringing this up since she talked to Solus either way.]

Where, and how far, do the police force patrol? Though, anyone who can and feel like it should probably assist, but coordination would probably make it more effective. So far I've kept it mostly around the edge of Solus Prime's outer border.

[Elita walks as she speaks, looking more at the now rather impressively large crystal "trees" around her than the screen, but not just for admiring them - rather looking for something.]

Also, would anyone be capable of making some form of alarms we could put around the edges? Simple motion-detection ones might be useful enough, but I was thinking of something that might be able to detect the type of energy the Badlands contain.

[Nothing she can do, but hopefully someone else would be - or could try to.]

[Idly, she checked her chronometer and was amused to find the time elapsed was exactly as much as Blurr had given her.]

Hi there, Blurr. [She dips her helm in a nod and gets up from the crouch she was in, smiling.] If you did want to help, try looking around for smaller shards that aren't fully fused to the greater crystals... or loose growths on the ground.

I'm not sure if it matters either way, but taking shards that are growing might help them attach in new places.

[Excuse him while he opens his hood to let two firelizards get out. One is really small, the same color as Blurr, and has the Elita guard symbol on it's back. The other, in a cooper color, has the normal size for a firelizard and looks a bit dizzy.]

They can't follow me ^{when I run} so I had to keep them inside until I arrived here. I _{don't think} the new recruit is very used to the speed, the poor thing. [He puts the cooper dragon on the ground, giving him some space.]

That sounds like a good idea. Maybe they can help us to find those too.

[Well, sometimes you take wrong on the time needed, it happens to everybody, so it's interesting he was so precise.]

These your flying surveillance system? [Elita's optics widened briefly as Blurr let them out, then she smiled and squatted down, reaching out for them but not grabbing either of them.]

If they find spots while they're doing their regular patrolling, that would be great, otherwise it's probably easier for me to just keep an optic out myself - there's more important things they could be doing.

[She shrugs, slowly rubbing her fingertips underneath the chin of the copper one as it stretches its neck and head out towards her.]

The more of a potential alarm system we have towards the edges of the Haven, and towards the border that faces the Badlands, the better.
