Number II - When you're hot, you're hot... [Video]
[Axel's face appears on the screen, and even shadowed by the hood of his coat- which in itself is unusual, since he tends not to like the hood- he doesn't look too well. He also seems to be bundled up in a thick gray blanket. When he speaks, his voice sounds tired and hoarse, as if he'd been coughing a lot recently.]
Hey, everybody. Guess what? Turns out Nobodies aren't immune to this bug that's going around...
[He's forced to pause there, as he trails off into a coughing fit. He gives a faint groan when he manages to regain his breath, seeming to try and curl deeper into his coat and blanket.]
Dammit... [He sighs hoarsely.] Just... fair warning for anybody that might think of visiting.... don't touch me, OK? Unless you wanna burn your hand, that is. One of the fun side effects of being a fire-user with a fever, ya know...
[Another, briefer coughing fit interrupts him]
Hope everybody else is doin' better than me...

[Besides, picturing having an actual culprit to set on fire after this is all over makes Axel feel slightly better. Slightly.]
Yeah. Dunno how it works with robots, but with guys like us temperature is kinda subjective... if our body is hot, the air can feel colder by comparison... Course, sometimes it's just our screwed up systems messing with us too...
[He trails off into a small coughing fit and groans softly as it passes.]
Yeah... fireproof would be a good idea, given that I singed my bedsheets by accident... And thanks.
[With a shake of his helm, Jetfire rubs his chin.]
Interesting. As long as all systems are working properly, internal thermometer and external temperature sensors work together... They can be glitched, however, which I surmise is what happens when the systems during this virus can't decide whether something is overheated or not.
Fireproof it is, then. [Despite the other topics, he smiles.] Not a problem at all.
Re: [Video]
And yeah.... 'glitched' is a pretty good way to describe it...
[He coughs a little.]
You'll probly have to get someone else to deliver it, though; doubt you'd fit in my room too well...
[He smiles a bit dryly at that.]
Ah, you have installed yourself in the habitation wing of the Hub, or elsewhere? If it's the former, I can always simply meet you in the Hub, since the rest of it is easily large enough to accomodate me.
Re: [Video]
[Axel grumbles something under his breath, which just leads to a bit more coughing.]
And yeah... habitation wing. Hopefully by the time this thing is done, moving will seem like less of a chore...
[He frowns slightly.]
While it's of course hard to near impossible to draw parallels given the curious... ah, state of this virus given its range, if it's similar, one could at least hope to presume it would have the same course.
Re: [Video]
But anyway... assuming you're healthy otherwise the flu usually involves feeling like crap for a few days- any combination of fever, chills, nausea, aches and pains, coughing, sneezing and a few other fun symptoms- then you start to recover...
[Seems he talked a bit too much, and the last sentence trails off into a bit of a coughing fit.]
...Those few days suck, though...
... That does seem like the symptoms people are suffering, regardless of organic or mechanoid origin. So, if nothing else, it does seem that coming from something from the Lambda or created, it is some sort of flu... or is imitating the effects of one.
[Kind of useless facts in the overall situation, but interesting anyway.]
But yeah... seems like it. For all the good knowing that does us.
[Jetfire shrugged and then frowned.]
Indeed. Interesting to know, but in the end lacking any... ah, practical application without the proper knowledge.

All you'd need is equipment capable of converting the light back, or use the information stored that way directly.

I'll see about that blanket, and let you go back to resting.
