Number II - When you're hot, you're hot... [Video]

[Axel's face appears on the screen, and even shadowed by the hood of his coat- which in itself is unusual, since he tends not to like the hood- he doesn't look too well. He also seems to be bundled up in a thick gray blanket. When he speaks, his voice sounds tired and hoarse, as if he'd been coughing a lot recently.]

Hey, everybody. Guess what? Turns out Nobodies aren't immune to this bug that's going around...

[He's forced to pause there, as he trails off into a coughing fit. He gives a faint groan when he manages to regain his breath, seeming to try and curl deeper into his coat and blanket.]

Dammit... [He sighs hoarsely.] Just... fair warning for anybody that might think of visiting.... don't touch me, OK? Unless you wanna burn your hand, that is. One of the fun side effects of being a fire-user with a fever, ya know...

[Another, briefer coughing fit interrupts him]

Hope everybody else is doin' better than me...

Yeah, and have you get this too...? Nuh-uh... half the town's already down with it, seems like... We don't need any more people sick...

[Especially spiky-haired kids who are too heroic for their own good.]

[Sorry, Sora, but stubborn Axel is stubborn. See that look he's giving you from under the hood, Sora? That's the look of someone who's unimpressed with your argument.]

[Axel breaks off into coughing, then sighs a bit. Sora's just dumb enough to try it anyway...]

I'll... try and find some other way of getting in, OK...?

[ LOOKING AT YOU HARD, AXEL. YOU WOULDN'T DARE BREAK A PROMISE, WOULD YOU? ]

[Axel smirks.]

Sora, you act like you don't trust me...

[He chuckles slightly which ends in a cough.]

Yeah, yeah.... If it'll keep you from any misplaced attempts at heroism, I promise...

More like I just think you're stubborn...

[ and he's worried, okay? Sora's allowed to be worried over a friend shut up. and every cough might make him more so. ]

And you act like I run off blindly the first chance I get.

But you gotta admit, you do kinda have a saving-people-thing goin' on...

[Axel coughs a bit. Bit too much talking, it seems. He sighs when the brief coughing fit is done.]

[He shows Sora the water Ven left, the bottle partly empty, and takes a sip before twisting the cap back on and setting it aside again. See? He's taking care of himself, Sora.]

Ven was here a bit ago... brought some water and extra blankets... think I dozed off after that...

Anyway, shutting up now... N' don't worry so much... I'll be fine.
