[The video starts with Megatron. For this pronouncement, he has chosen a centralized location: The junk-pile, overlooking the Hub community center. He’s had something in mind since Elita made her inquiry a short while ago, and now seems as good a time as ever.]

The Firstforged have left.

They have made it clear that their own priority is to prepare this planet for Primus, which leaves the defense and planning of the Haven to us. If there will ever be a chance of getting home, it is in our hands.

It is time for us to begin building our own lives here.

Another speech, Lord Megatron? I’d say I’m surprised, but well … I’m not.

[The image of none other than Starscream pops up on the screen as Megatron’s own transmission is hijacked. Starscream’s image appears off to the side like the annoying commentary Megatron never wanted.]

So what lies will you be spreading to the public today?

[It takes Megatron a moment to recover, realizing that his transmission suddenly has an unwelcome guest.]

Starscream. If you want to come hear these supposed ‘lies’ then you know where to find me. It’s time we had someone capable of making speeches, after all.

[Starscream erupts into laughter.]

I will give you that one. You always did know how to talk big and draw a crowd. I remember being at the rallies. Little did we know just how deep your twisted viewpoints went back then.

My twisted viewpoints? [Megatron scoffs, unimpressed.] Of the two of us, it should be obvious who has the best interests of the Haven at heart...and who is merely making a grab for power. Tell, me, what have you done to make this world--or any other--better?

I’m not the one who preaches about a new world order when all you really want is to recondition everyone to be tools for you own amusement. No matter what you claim, you never had anyone’s best interests in mind. I know that for a fact.

[Megatron’s growl is dark, turning in the video to face the image of Starscream next to him.]

Then come prove it.

[Starscream matches Megatron's gaze with a smirk]

[He disconnects.]

No offense but the same could be said about you. [Blurr doesn't trust none of you twou, if it's any consolation.]

The First Forged haven't been gone a month and you all are jumping at the opportunity to be in charge of the whole place. It says alot about your mindset.

For Cybertron's sake, all I wanted to do was talk.

[He's starting to see where his later selves have so many problems with anger.]

We do need centralized leadership if we're going to survive without the Firstforged. The Haven is not going to protect itself.

I know, Megatron, and I wanted to listen. Talking is a great thing in my opinion. [People should do it more instead of going for the classic CANON TO THE FACE method.]

We have the Law Committee, it only needs _{to be more visible} and effective. It's not like the FirstForged used their power to really tell us what to do. However, I understand your con_cerns and what you are getting at. AND if you still want to explain yourself I can come to the Hub once you and Starscream are done. As i said, I wanted to listen to what you had to say.

Yes, I agree with you. It's hard to make mechs from so many different worlds focus on working together but the times we accomplished it were because Unicron was being a threat. We could find the way to work together to make things improve if we work all together one more time.

[And he really means ALL. Neutrals, Cons, Autobots, Predacons, Organics, Toasters......]

[He's not thinking good thoughts now, but he at least has Starscream to distract him.]

Lately we had many inside threats and people were focused on that. We are working on it but it not be enough. [The Police force needs a good reorganization and Blurr also thinks that need to control the new issue with Megatron before people start taking idiotic decisions.]

Blurr was glad that he could wait for Megatron to show up in his temple. Since his initiation he felt uneasy when he had to spend a lot time away from it. To not force the mech to seek him out he was sitting by one of the windows, reading.]
