This isn't quite how I thought I would be returning to Cybertron. Then again, I didn't think that I would find myself being pulled from one universe to the next like another I know of either.
[ and he'd like to be able to figure out how it is possible, but he can save that for another time. ]
Now I'm sure that those who are listening to this are likely tired of answering the same questions over and over again. I apologize that I have to ask said questions. Any mech who would offer more answers than what I have just received would have my gratitude and I would strive to return the favor.
If any of my comrades are here, please check in. [ he just wants to know you're all right, okay? ]

Built for speed, but yes, all ground bound vehicles.
In mine, I am a Seeker. We are the highest class of aerial builds. [a smirk - he can't help it, he /is/ still borderline-arrogantly proud of what he is, always will be] We are built for speed too, I'll grant that parallel. Speed and power. And there's not a single one of us among the Autobots.
[ but he does note the pride in the other. there's nothing inherently wrong with it. ]
When you say builds... You mean to say this is your natural frame?
[Okay, that makes him GAPE openly for a moment. But then he'll recover himself.]
Huh . . . okay . . . you're a flyer now, though? [Right!?]
[The grin is somewhere between a smirk and genuine.]
Yeah, it is. There is nothing greater than the freedom of the skies. [That part, if nothing else, is sparkfelt.] Anyone ever teach you how to fly properly, though, or did you have to figure it out yourself? I'll show you some tricks of the trade if you'd like.
[He doesn't actually mean that as an insult. He's just remembering how much trouble Fracas had first learning to fly. The former grounder couldn't even manage to coast in a straight line until Thundercracker worked with him a little bit.]
[ gonna rise to the challenge. Starscream might be a little bit of a show off in flight... not that TC needs to know this right away. ]
[If there's one thing Thundercracker prides himself in and shows off at…it's his prowess in the air. Like a challenge? Expect to be pushed. All for fun, of course.]
I see. Let me know the next time you're in the air. I'd be interested in seeing what you've managed so far.
[ especially since he's going to follow CJ's lead and pick a space where he can just take off from the temple from.
lots of flying. ]
[Video] --> Action?
[That gets a wide grin from him.]
In that case, I'll see you shortly.
[And he'll switch to Audio as he heads off.]
Action /o/
Action 8D
[The red and white scheme is familiar enough, and a surprisingly comforting sight (considering his own trine leader's general character). Thundercracker's not had anyone to fly with since Skywarp disappeared on him. Feeling playfully ornery, he'll "greet" the other flyer by heading straight in and . . . flying through one of Starscream's loops, turning a lazy corkscrew as he does.]
Action
at the greeting, which has the flier inwardly smiling, he spins out of his loop, giving a bit more to his thrusters to catch up to the other. ]
Re: Action
[That's okay - Ravage has already broken his processor a little once before mentioning what his counterpart looks like. Yyyyyyyyeah, he'll readily keep his more
dignifiedsubdued blue theme.][Chuckling, Thundercracker opens his comm as he eases off his own thrusters a little...just a little.]
Not bad, not bad.
Action
I see you're in high spirits.
[ is that a pun? it might be. ]
Action
Flying always puts me in "high spirits".
[He's no good at puns, but he can play back at least some when he's of a mind to.]
So, show me what you've taught yourself?
Action
Something we can agree on - much like your choice in colors. I forgot to mention how easy they are on the optics than the neon I am accustomed to seeing.
[ and while there is a part of him that does want to show off, best take it slow. nothing fancy here, but Starscream does turn, opting to cruise along with his cockpit facing the ground as opposed to the open sky. he holds it for about three seconds before correcting his form. ]
Action
[He, by contrast, preferred to NOT have attention on him unless he needed it (or he was showing off in flight) – it tended to be a bad thing, in his experience.]
[Once was a time such a simple display would have gotten only ridicule from the proud Seeker . . . but he'd seen how much trouble Fracas had had. He'd learned just how much work it was for a former grounder to learn even the basics.]
Good. How long can you hold that for? Or do you know yet?
Action
[ drawing attention to oneself that is. Starscream will gladly fly under the radar. being ON a certain Prime's radar is what destroyed his beloved city, after all. ]
Hmm. I can hold it for a few seconds, but if only because I have not really had the time to try longer.
[ it's hard to find recreational time protecting a planet and all. ]
Action
Hmn. Well, that's one advantage to this place. Time is about all you have here. No agenda if you don't want one. No one to order you to anything you don't want to do. Hmn…you probably didn't have much of that to deal with.
[He knows that Megatron never ordered /him/ to anything. He never really gave the Seeker any orders at all, just support for anything /he/ wanted to do. Which was . . . novel, to say the least.]
Action
I take it that such things are a novelty for you?
[ he doesn't know, really. CJ hasn't spoken much of his own dimension. nothing for Starscream to assume or otherwise. ]
While no, Megatron is not a dictator with his orders, we still had a mission to accomplish. I've found it's much easier following than it is leading.
Action
[He doesn't mind at all. Actually, it's been far too long since he's had someone to fly with. Even Megatron –the white one, Starscream's Megatron
in his mind, he always has to separate "the white one" from the one who is far closer to "his own" Megatron, too uncomfortably so- usually seemed too busy to go flying with him, and he could never work up the "gall" to ask anyway.][He only barely squelches a low snort of wry amusement at the last part, managing instead simply- ]
I would guess you'd think so, yeah. Megatron used to tell me a little about you. Well, about all of his mechs, but some especially, and you were one of those. And since I know you and Cliffjumper know each other from before, I know you're aware that you're from a reality pretty much reverse from the rest of us…?
[His engine sputters softly in a sort of sigh.]
A novelty. Yeah. For me, the war's been going on far longer than yours, and if you can imagine what things are probably like for the Autobots in your world operating under Optimus Prime's rigid dictatorship, especially the higher-ranking officers . . . I'd figure it's much the same as where I came from.
[And he'll…just…leave it at that. He won't bother mentioning the multitude of abuses…]
((ooc: I could be wrong –correct me if I am? - but I seem to remember the war in Shattered is still relatively newish? Maybe a few hundred years? G1's war has been going on for, like, millions. >,> And I headcanon that TC's been in it since pretty much the beginning, or close to it. That's why he said that.))
Action
[ Starscream listens... the tone that the other carries when speaking sort of saddens him. he doesn't want to think about what life must be like under someone who is a tyrant. if his Megatron had been a kind, decent mech... the mirror of that makes his engine sputter in a shutter. ]
I am sorry, Thundercracker. No one should have to live under the thumb of anyone. No one deserves to constantly be afraid.
[ freedom is a right that all deserve. ]
The punishments that Prime can come up with are cruel. Sending his officers or underlings off to Ratchet is not what I would wish on even them. Both are unstable, true...
I don't understand it. At all.
