[Texting? It's a bit beyond her abilities, considering typing mechanisms of any sort weren't exactly available in her tower. Not to mention that typing feels doubly unnatural with the alphabet all out of order and spaced strangely. Initially, the other two options aren't much better for her, and it takes some fiddling around before she gets the audio function to turn on.]
Um... hello? Am I doing this right? Can anyone hear me?
[Well, assuming she's using it correctly, here goes nothing.]
My name is Rapunzel, and while I'm sure that gigantic, talking, magic-living-statue person meant well, I really, really can't stay long. You see, I have a very important thing I recently set off to do, and if I don't go right back to take care of it, I may never have a chance to again... [She mumbles the rest of the sentence.] and I've kind of been waiting my whole life for it. [Ahem.] So, if anyone would be so kind to tell me how I could possibly return home, I'd be really appreciative.
[There's a small moment of thoughtful silence.]
But before I forget, by any chance, did someone by the name of Euge-- um, Flynn Rider get here before me? I know it might be a bit of a stretch, but I thought it might be a good idea to check.
[In all honesty, Rapunzel would be relieved to see a familiar face in this strange, enormous, intimidating world. That said, if there is some sort of hidden way back home, she'd need to make sure Flynn could return with her.]
Okay, I think that's everything I wanted to ask about.
...And I really do hope this strange thing is actually working and that I haven't been talking to myself this entire time.

video >action
Rapunzel will be able to see him in person very quickly because there's a car in the distance that's approaching the temple really fast. It finally comes to a halt in front of the gates and Knock Out changes back to robot mode.] Missed me?
action;
Um, sure?
action;
Hmm...still scared of the big metal men? I won't hurt, I'm not that sort of mech anymore. [Not in public, at least. Knock Out put a knee on the floor so they're more at eye level.]
action;
Oh, it's not that. I mean it sort of is, but that other thing was scarier.
[At least this form of his is humanoid and not entirely foreign. Just 99% foreign.]
action;
That other thi...My car alt mode? What, you don't like sport cars? [Sacrilege.]
action;
[You are strange, sir, though not necessarily in a bad way.]
action;
[Oh yes, he is very strange, even for his kind. But strange is fun.]
Let me shows you how that things works, it's not so hard. [He points to the communicator in her hands.] Those buttons here allow you to chose what you want to do, audio, a video log...those other buttons there...
[And Knock Out's goes on explaining the basics. A lot of things might sound like gibberish to her but he tries to keep it easy to understand.]
action;
[The guards weren't riding any, but there was one with them, so it's a pretty safe bet.]
But, um, no "vehicles". At all.
[Despite that huge world difference, she quickly turns her focus to his explanations, listening intently to every instruction and detail. It's a bit to take in, though the technology behind the functions is admittedly a lot more confusing and question-raising than the functions themselves. However, she figures it's best not to ask about the "behind the button" nitty gritty, considering she knows she wouldn't be able to understand it. Not yet, at least.]
Okay, I think I got that all. Thank you so much for explaining everything.
action;
You will see a lot of them around here.
[Most humans can't understand how the communicator operates, it's not only her.] You are welcome. With a bit of practice you won't have any problems at all.
action;
[She'll definitely take his word for it.]
I think I'm starting to gather that. Do all the metal people turn into... um, cars?
[Are all vehicles called cars? No?]
I hope not. But I think I can manage okay now, so long as I don't forget your instructions.
[She really hopes she doesn't.]
Re: action;
[Ignore him Rapunzel of he will never stop talking about himself.]
No, some turn into jets, weapons, construction vehicles, spiders, a leg...[One of those things is not like the others. Still, all true.]
If you do, I'm sure you will find people in your assigned temple that will explain you how it works again.
Re: action;
[No, no, talk on, it's interesting, even if she can't understand certain terms.]
A leg...? [Rhetorical question.] That's... really interesting. [And the "spiders" sound sufficiently terrifying.]
That's a good point, though I'd rather not bother them if I don't have to, you know? [It's bad enough having no choice but to flaunt her ignorance on her first day.]
no subject
Yes, he was once a combiner. [Realizing that 'combiner' might sound like gibberish to her, he elaborates.] A group of robots that change their forms to make an even bigger, stronger, unity. Have you ever played with legos? It's kind of like that.
I'm sure they won't really mind, but I understand.
no subject
[KO gets to hold the title as fastest... in her book. For now, anyways.]
Oh... um, I've never played with "leg-goes" but I think I get it. Is it normal for your kind to do that?
no subject
[That would make him so proud if she told him.]
Most of us can't do it but it's not so uncommon. It's all about combat strategy. How was your world like?
no subject
That's some serious strategy.
[Er... do you really want her to answer that?]
As for my world... I really don't know. I was raised kind of... um, sheltered.
no subject
Define sheltered. In an island, like Sora?
no subject
[Oh boy...]
Think... smaller than an island.
no subject
[What even is smaller than a island.]
A rock in the middle of the ocean?
no subject
[Maybe it's because she hasn't had the opportunity or the means to study her own world's history, but war seems like it should be a last-resort sort of thing, but something that happens often enough that peace is surprising.]
Um... no. Less water and a bit bigger. I live with my mother in a little... hm. Valley is probably the best word. It was a few day's walk to the nearest town and well... Mother was the only one that ever went there. She always said it was far too dangerous for me to go.
no subject
Oh little blondie, if you only knew how universal is war in all the worlds and universes.]
No offense but that sounds boring as hell. Megatron and Starscream were against me leaving the nemesis when I needed fresh air but I did it anyway. Traveling around the planet was fun, even if that planet happened to be Earth.
no subject
[She was beginning to discover the positive aspects of the outside world back in her home world before she was snatched away to Cybertron. However, she's definitely curious as to what "good" there is in this place. Well, besides the nice folks who have helped her thus far.]
I kept busy but... oh, who am I kidding? It did get boring a lot of the time. That's why I snuck out with an escort. I was on my way to the city when I was brought here.
[Surprise, surprise, this place is technically the first city she has ever been to.]
...Hey, what's so wrong with Earth? And how did you go there without being noticed?
no subject
Nothing kills the soul faster than boredom. It's good that you left Who was that escort?
[Isn't it impressive, Rapunzel?]
Earth is not my home plant, that's what was wrong. besides, there were some people who wanted us dead. I turn into a vehicle, that helped.
no subject
[PFFFT. Those are obviously very personal reasons for being out and about, but hearing about them does nothing but endear him to her.]
Um... a stranger who tried to hide in my tower to escape some guards... he turned out to be a wanted thief. B-but he wasn't that bad, really! Just a little... um, shallow. At least he was at first.
[So impressive.]
...You were able to stay unnoticed like that?
[It's a strange concept, but then again... vehicles beyond horse and buggy didn't exist in her time.]
Pfff that emote
Rapunzel will find her reasons too, he's sure of that. Knock Out stalest at her with a poker face after hearing her story.]
Hm hm....I'm not going to lie, I've heard worse. Shallow at the beginning, did he change for you?
Yes, people on earth have cars almost everywhere.
It's a winner, innit?
Yes, best ever
