[Thundercracker can't tell if Megatron recognized him or just acknowledged him identifying himself. Well...he'll know for sure soon enough.]

[He finally arrived, transforming midair to land and drop immediately into a crouch, beginning to assess the damage and start some field repairs. He's no doctor, but he's handled enough battle wounds to get leaks patched up and the like until he can get the mech to the medbay.]

[Megatron smiled to the flyer as he landed. Rumbler, the tank drone, was clamped onto the end of Megatron's injured arm, capping it off effectively, while the hand itself was held in the leader's other hand. The flickering optic finally chose to give up and went dark.]

[Now that there wasn't distortion to the communication he was able to speak freely to the other.]

Last thing I do remember is being in Alpha Trion's library, reading up on what he had available for the typical studies our human friends take.

I can only guess that by finding myself out here... I disappeared, did I not? My chrono isn't functioning properly, how long?

[Thundercracker relaxed from a tension he'd not realized he'd been holding until he felt his wings shift down on his back a little.]

  [It /was/ him.  The same him.  The one who would remember the Seeker.  He hadn't let himself think about how much that would mean to him . . . or how much it would hurt otherwise.]

  …two months, sir.  It's been two months.  [wry, almost rueful grin]  You haven't missed much, honestly.  There was some kind of illness that went around, able to affect Cybertronians and organics alike.  Even took down one of the Earth bots, McCrane.  I understand a cure's been found for it now, though.  Knock Out has it.  Things have been quiet otherwise.

  For what it's worth . . . it's good to have you back.  Ravage will be happy.  And I think you caught that your second, Starscream, is here now too?  He just arrived about a week ago.

  [He found himself hoping Megatron would still accept having him around as well, and he pushed the thought aside, concentrating again on the first aid work.]

Couldn't be helped.  The pull of the Badlands can be powerful and can take us by surprise.  It did me, once.

  [He didn't assume that Megatron would remember, but certainly did –that time he'd come back to his senses when he'd been beset by a group of monsters to find himself on the edge of the Badlands.  Megatron and Blurr had come out to help him back into Haven.]
