[It's probably around midnight or so when the post pops up. Or close enough to it that the effects of the red energon have finally worn off. He can touch things now. He's no longer a ghost.]

[And... still considerably unsettled and upset by recent events. Enough to make the following statement:]

I ... I want to learn how to be drunk.

[Because that seems like a great idea. It always worked for his role models around here, after all.]

Someone. Show me how. I'll be grateful.

[And that's all he says. He'll be at the bar, an unhappy pile of metal and wings. Waiting.]

[At least Kay will still talk to him.]

You got it. I'll be right over--I think I'm getting the hang of this flying thing.

Just...don't start without me, okay? Tell me everything.

[She's already heard heading out the door.]

Promise. I won't even touch the ground til I get there.

[And true to her word, that's exactly what she does, flying straight for the Hub. The landing...could be a little better--somersaulting isn't exactly the recommended method of landing. But it's the results that count, isn't it?

She walks in, rubbing her head, looking around for her adoptive father figure.]

Kagerou?

[When she said she was coming, he'd left the back corner of the room, moving to somewhere she was sure to see him.]

[And when she steps in, he actually rises, holding his hands down to her out of habit and reflex.]

Kay.

[She wastes no time in flashing a smile, practically bounding onto those hands, arms spread wide to balance.]

Did you wait like I said?

[She already knows the answer, but familiarity with Kagerou was the best way to approach him.]

[He lifts her smoothly, carrying her back to where he'd seated himself. She doesn't need to be carried, of course. But there's comfort in doing so. In being near her.]

Of course.

I don't know where to get the juice for you, though. I'm sorry.

You silly. I've got it covered.

[Despite being in her armor, she has her belt tied around her waist, fanny pack brought along and everything. A hand digs in pulling out a little juice box she'd gotten when she went to get soup for Sora.]

Okay, I'm totally ready.

[He sets her down gently on the table. Since... she's here, part of him feels incredibly guilty for wanting to be drunk.]

[Maybe he won't, with Kay here.]

You're very prepared.

[Whoops, stalling.]

A Great Thief is always prepared with Swiss Rolls and juice! It's like...a law or something.

[She slides onto the table, sitting cross legged as she sticks the straw in the juicebox, looking up at him.]

So...why are you such a grumpy goose?

I won't enforce it, if you forget.

[He folds his arms on the table, silent for a little while. Then he takes a cube, if only to toy with it.]

... He won't speak to me.

[He already figures Kay knows who he's talking about.]

[Now -that- gets her attention.]

What do you mean he won't speak to you? I thought you two like...told each other feelings and stuff!

[She sets her juicebox down, slowly inching forward.]

[He shakes his head, and his expression is bleak.]

I tried to. I really did try, Kay. Just like you wanted...

... but he didn't want to listen. He... kissed me.

Wait, he kissed you??

[Boy is she going to hop to her feet. This is great, right? This is what was supposed to happen!]

But that means he feels something!

No. It doesn't.

[There could not possibly be three more hopeless words in history. Okay, there probably were, but not out of his mouth.]

... he didn't wish to. Until he had that pink energon.

[Look at this face. This is a face of girl anger.]

And now he won't talk to you? Well I'm gonna talk to him. You poured your feelings out to him and he did...THAT?! Nuh uh!

Let me handle this, Kagerou. I'll set him straight.

Kay--!

[He actually reaches a hand toward her, as if to pick her up and stop her from doing that.]

No, I... I didn't get the chance to say anything. I tried to. But he just --

He did it.

And then I was affected by something else.

It's not his fault.

[It causes her to stop, now a bit confused.]

So the weird Energon made him kiss you...but you didn't say anything? Maybe he thinks YOU'RE mad at him!

Boys are so stupid sometimes...

I... didn't have the chance to, Kay. I stopped being able to touch anything.

We were distracted from talking.

[He makes helpless little gestures. Yes, they really are stupid.]

Well then he has to know!

[She's already grabbing her helmet, ready to take off again. Things are going down between these two, and you can bet her key in her hair that she's going to try and fix it.]

Kay...

[He reaches out again, just to curl his hand around her. Not to squeeze, or restrain her, just hovering around her. Like a barrier.]

I can't ask you to do this. I... Have to.

Somehow.

[She stops when his hands halt her, turning back to see his face.]

But Kagerou...you tried and he won't answer you!

Kay...

You said I needed to talk to him. Didn't you?

...Yeah. I did, didn't I...

So you're gonna try to do that?

Yes.

... After tonight. Tonight, I... just want to forget about it for a little while.
