[Video] One grumpy Seeker, coming up...

[Hello, Haven. Now appearing on your comms is a probably familiar form, though with a very unfamiliar paint job. Maybe Thundercracker or Starscream decided to try a new look?

Nope. Once this new Seeker speaks, it's clear that he's a stranger. A new arrival most likely. Whoever he is, though, he's clearly not very happy.]

Alright. I heard the story from the drone. Or Acolyte, or whatever the frag they're called. But can anybody out there tell me what the Pit is actually going on here? And why I've suddenly gained an extra, glowing brand that I don't recognize on my arm?

Because if this is all some kind of overly-elaborate joke or some Quintesson's latest idea on how to mess with us, someone is gonna get it...

[He shakes his helm.] Unfortunate. As I understand it, for ours... it seems back to pre-war levels of energon.

Mmhm. Something of an issue when they are not just focused on each other, but few have their equal.
angleofscience: (inquisitive - how much data?)

That, and the issue of functioning ships if you continually sabotage each other's efforts or, as you say, don't wish to leave until the others do so.
angleofscience: (neutral - totally thinking of science)

Oh? [He tilts his helm, curious.] Not that I know how the Nemesis ended up on the bottom of the ocean either, but I don't think it had anything to do with sabotage...
angleofscience: (say what? - I did calculations!)

I see. [He's hardly about to say it's unfortunate or anything like that, given, ahem, everything. So instead he just nods.] An unpleasant way to be brought back to... ah, earth.

Interesting, either way. Though I suppose you may want to have a look around?
angleofscience: (ttly explaining things - confused yet?)

At least Earth's oceans are rather pleasant, all things considered.

[He smiles slightly at that and then nods.]

As long as nothing is going on, we do have time yes. And despite the desolate looks, this Cybertron can be interesting. Just be wary of flying away from the Haven from Vector Prime's quadrant... it's closer to the Badlands - relatively at least - in that direction.
angleofscience: (confused - something isn't right here)

You don't think they left the base more often than that? Even if they weren't actively amassing for a raid, I doubt they would've stayed there all the time.

[That seemed... highly improbable.]

And... ah, if you attempt to leave orbit, if you're capable of it, you might find yourself unable to. I'm not sure if the forcefield that was there earlier still is in place.
angleofscience: (hmm - analyzing data)

Could have been either way, then. [Nodding, Jetfire tilts his helm.] Since, if nothing else, it wouldn't be impossible to leave for flights or recon unnoticed if it weren't attached to high-profile attacks.

And it would probably definitely be better if you save the energy and effort, then. We don't have any lack of energon, but since you might not be able to get anywhere after hitting the forcefield...

[He shakes his helm briefly. It's a bit of a frustrating situation, really.]

If you do attempt it, could you perhaps inform me what the result was? Whatever that result might be. I'd be interested.
angleofscience: (awkward smirk - yes if you say so)

He does tend to prefer less subtle methods of action... and even when those less subtle methods are the distractions for something hidden away, even that usually would result in something less than subtle.

[The smile that creeps up on his faceplate is rather lopsided.]

Thank you, I'd appreciate it. The information might be useful.
angleofscience: (smile - as predicted!)

I won't. [He smiles dryly and shakes his helm.] If I'd done that prior to now, I'd have overheated long since.
angleofscience: (smile - patience is a virtue after all)

Certainly. Enjoy your flight.
